"Absolute Air (AA) is the second company I've had at the house and will be the first one I'll call the next time I need HVAC service. I've dealt with a zone damper problem for over two years that is finally fixed. However, I called (AA), because my AC stopped cooling correctly. They discussed my problem over the phone and gave me some troubleshooting ideas, after which I was able to fix the cooling problem immediately without cost or without having to endure a hot house in the middle of summer. They fixed my damper problem a couple of days later after getting the part. Caleb and Tom were great. It was obvious that they both cared about providing the best service possible."

This project was difficult as it required disassembling the boiler to get it down a set of stairs into the basement and then reassembling the boiler and steam pipe network. "We had them put in a gas line for stovetop and fireplace conversion. While we had issues getting the fireplace line in. There was a cost overrun. They worked with us to share the cost. I got a call from them also offer to fix our drywall, since it was more extensive. This was not included in the price, but I appreciate the call and offer."

"I had to take a second day off work, because the young technician couldn't wire the A/C to our 40-yr.-old circuit breaker box. The "electrician" who came the next day isn't a journeyman, and needed help to rig up a safe set of wiring. The man who did all except the heavy (240 volts) wiring didn't know how to wire to the thermostat so we wouldn't need to lose the "fan only" mode at the theremostat. But fortunately he thought to phone someone and find out how to do it. I was a bit upset at being asked to give up the "fan only" mode, especially since we'll no longer be using our semi-wonderful evap./swamp cooler to blow air thru the house occasionally. I was pleased with their answers to questions, and with informat volunteered to us by the technicians and the salesman. I believe they try to do the best job they could, but the young technicians weren't as skilled and experienced as I would wish. I'm not certain that the price was competitive."
