"Can't say enough about Summit Asphalt. Had our church, located in Sandy, UT sealed. This is an old parking lot that was first paved in 1985. Have had other company's do a seal job and was only halfway done. Chris at Summit listened to our issues with an old parking lot and came up with a beautiful solution. Job was done on time and at a reasonable price. Would recommend them for all asphalt jobs. Great to work with!!"

"Franklin is the nicest hardest working man I have ever met. He did everything by hand and was on site everyday. He did my retaining walls, grass, sprinkler system, landscaping and fire pit with pavers. He also did my vinyl fencing. His prices were half of my other quotes. I have a half acre. Grass pavers are suitable for heavy foot or vehicle traffic, but they’re not as resistant as concrete or asphalt pavers.

In most cases, you don’t need a permit to repave your driveway, although some exceptions exist. If you’re widening your driveway and plan on widening the apron as well, you’ll usually need a permit from the Department of Transportation in your area. The cost to install an asphalt driveway typically ranges between $4,200 and $9,000, significantly more than resealing. Consider talking to a professional to discuss whether resurfacing your driveway—a midway project between resealing and replacing—is a better option for you.

Asphalt, which is stone mixed with tar, is the most common material for outdoor basketball courts because it’s so sturdy and versatile. However, you don't have to use it: another option is polymeric rubber, which has shock pads that can prevent injury. This option is a little more expensive, ranging between $16 and $25 per square foot.
