"I'm so happy we found a good, trustworthy electrician to help us with our home. We've been able to do projects around the house ourselves but when it comes to electrical hiring the pros is the way to go. I'm very happy with their work and have already referred them to close friends and family. Our recessed lights look great and they helped correct a bunch of dangerous wiring in our basement from the previous owner. I'm very happy with their work and would rehire them in a heartbeat. Thanks Sego"

"Ray did such a great job on the electrical work that I originally contracted him for that I ended up having him do every electrical project I ever dreamed of for my home. He literally did everything from installing six ceiling fans, lights in our attic storage crawl space, recessed lighting in our garage and back covered patio and front porch, barn lights for either side of the garage, rewiring a fan with a new switch, a new recessed plug for an old fashioned school clock, and finally, a complete electrical upgrade from 100 amps to 200 amps including working with Rocky Mountain Power. Ray was always quick to respond and I felt safe and confident in his work and his efficiency. And he is interesting to talk to as well. A pleasure to work with and his pricing was more than fair. I am so grateful!"

"This was a big interior paining project, 1600 sq ft, ceiling, walls, trim, & doors. Approx. 6 days to complete. Gerardo and his team did a great job. Gerardo worked with me to make sure the finishing touches were complete. He even put up 2 new lighting fixtures in 2 bathrooms as well as, new towel racks. I'm very happy with the completed project."

"Dan from Expert Plumbing called me about 10:15 AM on the day of the new shower installation to get some additional information on what I needed done, and then again when he was about 10 minutes out. When he arrived, just shortly after 11 AM, he went over Expert's pricing (i.e., cost of the service call, hourly rate and minimum, etc.) and after looking very briefly at the plumbing, had me sign an invoice assuming two hours of labor (the worst case scenario in his mind). However, he explained that if he completed the work in an hour or less he would write up another invoice for one hour minimum labor charge. Dan then looked at the now exposed plumbing behind the bathtub. He saw no evidence of any leakage along the bathtub piping or on the floor during a careful inspection. However, he was unable to pressure test the piping and soldered connections because the water had been turned off and the shower-install contractor had already cut the copper piping to the now-demolished shower. He then focused on the corroded (due to hard water) nipple. It took some effort but with the correct internal pipe wrench he was able to remove it. I had purchased four nipples of differing lengths in anticipation of replacing the corroded nipple. Dan installed one of the new nipples so that a new tub spout with a threaded connection can be installed. Overall, the labor he performed took around 45 minutes, with most of that time expended on removal and replacement of the recalcitrant corroded nipple. In summary, Dan was courteous, personable, and professional. Before leaving he modified the invoice to one hour of labor, as he had discussed upon arrival. I would use Expert Plumbing, Heating, Air, and Electrical again if needed."

"The price was great for what I wanted and the work was done very well.  The only issue is that the schedule wasn't exactly kept to.   I am home during the days though, so this wasn't really an issue for me.  Would definitely use again based on the price and quality.  Shower looks great.

Chandelier Installation questions, answered by experts

Yes, a handyperson can install a new light fixture in place of an existing fixture. A handyperson typically cannot complete significant electrical work or change a home's wiring. If you want to install a light fixture in a new location, consult a properly licensed and insured electrician according to your local regulations.

Under-cabinet lighting is generally energy-efficient, especially when using LED technology. Compared to traditional ceiling lighting or older bulb types like halogen and incandescent, LED under-cabinet lights consume significantly less energy, which helps reduce operating costs. This applies to various forms, including strip lights, puck lights, and built-in fixtures. For an option that uses no electricity, consider battery-operated puck lights. While they require periodic battery replacements, they have the added advantage of functioning during a power outage.

Recessed lights, as with any kind of light, can be a fire hazard if not installed correctly. Because of this, it’s best to have a professional complete the installation for you. Properly installed lights should not pose a threat and often have heat sensors installed in them that turn the light off if the temperature gets too high.

When it comes to eye health, warm light is much better for you than cool light. Cool light is harsher on the eyes and causes strain. If you’re working in cool light, you may want to consider wearing blue-light glasses to protect your eyes.

Yes! As a matter of fact, there are many sensors that add motion to existing outdoor lights. These motion sensors attach to pre-existing flood lights and other outdoor lights without any fussy and potentially dangerous electrical work. Additionally, some flood lights and related fixtures ship with motion sensors built-in.
