We work in general construction and do jobs for contractors and property owners across North and East Texas. We have experience in demolition, sink installation, wood laminate flooring, leveling tiny and mobile homes, valve replacements, painting, drywall, concrete work, home additions and general home repairs. We also offer masonry work including brick, tile, and stone. We work well as a team. We have 20+ years of experience in various construction trades.

This ain't my first lawn

Hi my name is Chris Hill I run Hill Exteriors and we are a small local residential construction company mainly focusing on exterior work but we have the skills and knowledge to tackle almost any project you have related to your home. I grew up as one of those kids who loved tools and taking stuff apart and putting it back together and started my career off at Home Depot at the age of 18 where I ended up being promoted and managing the paint department there. I trained under an extremely skilled contractor for about a decade before he retired and he left me with the skills ,knowledge and the accounts to be able to continue the work he had trained me to do at fair prices. I take pride in my work and not try to sell people stuff that they don't need. If what you need done is not something I can handle I will be up front about it and I have a large network of local contractors that I trust that I can put you in touch with. I am insured and local with plenty of references!

I've lived in Dallas for only a little while, but it already feels like home, I started this company because I wanted to be my own boss and build my own future. The company provided a quick and fair quotation using photos and measurements that I provided of the deck along with a description of the services I was requiring.  Upon my acceptance of the quote, the work was scheduled that week.

When the technician arrived, he assessed that due to the previous staining job being performed on wet pressure treated wood that we would need to use a different type of stain product than was originally quoted.  The difference in price was ~$50 and we mutually agreed to the change in scope.

The technician performed the cleaning on the first day.  The cleaning consisted of a blower to remove any large debris and a pressure wash with a cleaning solution.

The staining occurred on day two and was applied with a gas-powered sprayer.  We had chosen a Sherman Williams Solid Color Traditional Russet Superdeck Stain.  As Good As New offered a 3 year warranty for this product.

Upon completion, the technician and I walked the job and looked for missed spots.  We found none.  He then gave detailed instructions on how to care for the new stain and told me to call if we had any issues during the warranty period.

Overall a very positive experience with As Good As New.

"Follow-up on a prior visit. I noticed a loose shingle yesterday being blown by the wind. I called Storm Phillips, he agreed to check on it on Sunday afternoon. Arrived on time, got started immediately, double-secured the loose shingle (tar and silicon) and checked others around it, replaced ones needing it, at NO CHARGE because I had used him in 2013 to do a thorough roof-shingle check and repair. Very professional, DEFINITELY will use him again. Fair, honest, great vendor.
