As with all tract home builders and their contractors, they want to get the job done as quickly as possible for the least amount of expense. This results in sub-standard quality, and requires careful inspection. Bryan with Hearthstone Professional Inspections was highly recommended by a trusted, local friend of mine. I live out of state and needed someone who knows local codes, builders, and contractors. I needed someone who I could rely on to be my advocate and scrutinize the details. Bryan has turned out to be eminently qualified in all areas. In his initial post-construction inspection he accumulated a punch list of over 40 important issues related to doors, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, foundation, landscaping, and finish work. Normally Bryan likes to meet his customer in person after the inspection to go over it. Since I was out of state, he called me to go over his findings one-by-one. He provided context so I would understand his concern with each item, and what it would take to remedy it.
