"Don did a good job of cleaning my fireplace insert and checking my chimney. He was very knowledgeable about the workings of the insert. I won't hesitate to give him a call in the future."
"Iâ  m thrilled with the repair service I received for my prefabricated fireplace unit. Quick response, punctual arrival, and the technician was knowledgeable and fixed the issue efficiently. Affordable pricing too. Highly recommend!"
"It's a pretty decent system, I think. They send you the pieces and you install them yourself, which is pretty easy. The only real problem I have is that one sensor is too far away from the panel...or there's some interference, and they haven't been able to fix that. It's an interior door, so it's not the end of the world, just a little annoying. Their customer service is pretty good though. Nice, smart customer service people on the other end, very polite and helpful."

"They were very good. I used them in October. I called and he told me when he'd be here. He did the job. It works just fine. He seemed very knowledgeable. and he did a really good job. He was cleaning out my chimney. I have a wood fire place chimney and he cleaned the insert and everything. He was very kind and very good. I felt comfortable with him as he was polite. He was a very nice man. "
"Sometimes Spouse is AWESOME! Sometimes Spouse showed up on time, worked hard, and made my house look like a different home. The techs showed up on time, worked hard daily, and pulled off the work in a timely manner."
"Lucio and his crew are amazing. I hired him for roofing, siding, window installation, rock footing/underpinning, new concrete driveway and sidewalks, among other home remodeling. His crews were some of the hardest workers. Always professional, excellent workmanship, and worked with urgency to help me complete my house project timely. Pricing was fair and Lucio was always available for getting to add on services! I will definitely use him as needed in future!"
To support ongoing fireplace service, keep basic ash removal tools ready. Store a flashlight and mirror to inspect your chimney cap for tree debris. Keep refractory mortar on hand to touch up small cracks caused by shifting TX soil. Elevate firewood on proper storage racks to prevent termite issues. Maintain a steady supply of fresh batteries for carbon monoxide detectors.

Start your fireplace service by scheduling a comprehensive chimney inspection before your first fire. Verify your fuel type and ensure past gas conversions have closed city permits. Inspect the chimney cap to block tree debris and wildlife common in Waco. Check the throat damper for rust to stop conditioned air from escaping. Finally, verify that carbon monoxide detectors are placed correctly.

Several local professionals handle fireplace service. Certified chimney sweeps manage standard cleaning and inspections. Licensed HVAC contractors and plumbers service gas log systems and handle safe gas line connections. General masonry contractors repair fireboxes and chimneys on older brick homes. Dedicated insert installers focus entirely on wood-burning setups. Hire the right specialist to ensure your TX home stays safe and functional.

After finishing fireplace service, schedule your next annual inspection for late summer before the burn season begins. Check that any required city permits are officially closed. Since Waco has expansive clay soils, monitor repaired mortar joints for new settling cracks during the first year. Test all carbon monoxide detectors immediately, and save your service records to boost your property value.

Fireplace service directly impacts other household systems. Chimney cleaning or damper repairs alter drafting, changing how your HVAC system balances air pressure. Gas repairs affect the shared gas supply for other appliances. Roof flashing repairs uncover hidden hail damage. In older Waco homes, service work exposes missing attic insulation around the chimney chase, requiring immediate air sealing to prevent energy loss.
