Small jobs welcome

Hi, I’m Victoria! I am 33, energetic, organized, & pay attention to detail. I understand people have busy schedules, things just happen sometimes & the house ends up messy, & or a home might need a deep clean before & or after an event/move in (out) & am here to help! :) Working in the bar industry 14 years, I have gained experience on what it takes to clean messes & reorganize items/spaces. I take pride in my work & want you to love your new, clean, tidied place! I’ve cleaned houses as a side gig growing up/been a permanent nanny, & also have 33 completed jobs on Homeaglow. Your expectations on your home are important to me, & I’ll try my best to surpass them! I currently live on some property with my fiance, and just started cleaning homes again while studying. Any extra jobs would be greatly appreciated and help me pave my way through school. Thank you, feel free to ask any questions, I am flexible with bulk cleanouts/deep cleanings, & am available for errands!

"Trevinos cleaning service was absolutely great! I used them to clean my home as I was moving out and they did an excellent job! They had really great attention to detail and truly cared about their work. They did not rush and do the minimum. They did everything to the fullest and were very kind. They are a family and work hard together! I wish I could give 10 stars. I would highly recommend them and will be using their services in the future!"

"I visited their store in San Antonio and they have a large selection of fabric swatches and drapery examples. They contacted me the day after I visited the store to arrange an appointment.

Chris was extremely prompt in coming out to give me a bid - and I live approximately 50 miles outside of San Antonio.  He was very professional, brought several samples books based on the description of what I wanted, and offered excellent advice.  The drapes came on schedule, are of high quality and were also hung promptly and well.

Although they project was a bit pricey, the results were of the highest quality.  The phrase "you get what you pay for" comes to mind.

Overall it was a very pleasant experience with no hassles whatsoever.  I would use them again for other projects of this kind.

"My carpet looks so good! I was positive that my carpet needed to be replaced after being stained by 2 dogs and 3 kids over 2 years but the technician came out the next day after I called and assured me that it could be cleaned. He was so polite and also cleaned a small area rug for me! Best part is that the carpet dried before my kids got home from school."

Drapery Cleaning questions, answered by experts

The best way to clean drapes or curtains depends on the fabric. Always check the care tag for instructions before attempting to wash them.

You can typically clean drapes yourself if they are made of durable materials like cotton, cotton blends, polyester, or burlap, which can often be machine-washed. However, some fabrics can be hand-washed.

For delicate materials such as linen, silk, velvet, lace, sateen, or wool, it is best to hire a professional drapery cleaner. These fabrics are often dry-clean only and can be damaged, shrink, or be destroyed by machine washing or using the wrong cleaning solutions.

If the care tag is missing, the drapes are old, thin, brittle, or have existing damage like pulls or tears, it's safest to have them professionally cleaned. A professional will use the correct methods and solutions for a safe, deep cleaning.

The main categories of window coverings are shades, shutters, curtains, drapes, and blinds. However, consumers today have dozens of options within these categories when it comes to everything from materials to the technology behind how window coverings operate.

You should avoid using a pressure washer on any surface or item that could be damaged by the high-pressure spray, as some materials are too delicate to withstand the force.

Key items and surfaces to avoid include:

  • Electrical Components: Never pressure wash electrical systems, as water can cause short-circuits and create a safety hazard. This includes utility meters, breaker boxes, electrical outlets, generators, and HVAC or air conditioner units.

  • Delicate and Fragile Materials: Fragile items can crack, shatter, or be stripped by the pressure. Avoid pressure washing windows, glass, light fixtures, shingled roofs (especially asphalt), and stucco.

  • Painted, Stained, or Sealed Surfaces: Unless your goal is to strip the finish, do not pressure wash painted surfaces, stained wood (like decks), or anything with a protective seal that could be stripped away. Be especially cautious with older surfaces that may contain lead paint.

  • Soft Woods and Certain Decking: Delicate surfaces like softwood, composite decking, and antique or wooden patio furniture can be etched or damaged. If you must wash wood, use a lower-powered pressure washer with a wide-angle nozzle to prevent damage.

  • Living Things: Never use a pressure washer on people, pets, or plants. The force can cause serious injury and will destroy landscaping.

In general, shades and blinds are the most common window coverings used today because they create unobtrusive, sleek profiles that fit into any space. In addition, blinds and shades are extremely easy to use. Most operate using either a pull system or wand. While most blinds and shades sold by retailers are available in a wide range of sizes that are made to fit standard windows, customers can also order custom shades and blinds for windows that are hard to fit.

Whether window film is better depends on individual preferences and specific needs. In some instances, window film can be much less costly to install. Aesthetics is also a deciding factor. Window film may have a more significant appeal for design minimalists looking for a clean and streamlined look without the heaviness that comes with curtains. On the flip side, they can also appeal to design maximalists looking for creative expression in the form of color, patterns, and texture. Choosing between window film and traditional window coverings depends on factors like desired functionality, aesthetics, and personal preferences.
