They took the additional time to guarantee all testing was complete and that all of the shutters operated, plus ensured that we were completely satisfied and happy with the product and their installation. We have never experienced storm or hurricane damage in the 35 years we have lived in our home but it was time we mitigated the risk. These shutters also function as security for our home when we are away on a trip. They are managed either individually from a local remote control or can be managed remotely via a mobile application from a smartphone. "Reliable Hurricane Solutions recently installed shutter panels on all the windows of my home. I am very satisfied with their work. The installation was professional and timely. The owner, Geremiah Roulston, took special care to insure that each panel was correctly aligned with the individual window; adding extra hardware, as needed, to secure a tight fit. The panels are of good quality, sturdy, yet light enough to handle easily; making hurricane protection simpler as well as secure. i would highly recommend this company for any shutter installation work you might need."

"Install was easy. Up front cost was pretty low with Angie's List coupon. Monthly price is a little high compared to competing companies. Response time with alarms is excellent. I was advised to use glass break alarms within 10 ft of my first floor windows, which we installed correctly. I asked prior to installation if having one in the kitchen would cause false alarms due to dishes clanging, etc. I was told the glass break alarms are configured to a precise frequency that alarms with breaking glass. So, not a "no", but not really an answer. Well, every time we cook dinner, wash dishes or empty the dish washer, the kitchen glass break alarm gives a warning which would sound the alarm if it was set. This has caused us a number of false alarms while we've been away due to shifting bowls or plates in our drying rack. For the first several we've had to pay our police department $120 to check the house, and I was only notified after the first alarm that there was a cheaper option for a security company to drive by to check for a break in."

The installation technician said our old system was usable and up-gradable to the new technology. We added cameras as well. The tech was knowledgeable, friendly and full of tips on using the system. "They gave us the best rate and the setup was great for ADT system. The installer did have to tell us about other options that would cost more money but he did not pressure us when we declined. We had door, window and motion detectors included. They gave us a week to practice on the new system, but we could call if we were ready to go live sooner which we did. Set up was quick, easy and uneventful. Very nice installer, Phillip Brown. The cost was quoted at a low price, but the bill came from ADT and was much higher. We were told the contract to ADT did not catch up and we will be getting the lower price with a reimbursement for the excess of the first bill. We did the $99 install and are getting a $100 gift card back. 3 year contract is a little annoying but we plan to stay here for a long time."
