Bill and his team are experts at what they do. Bill listens to the customer and gives you what you ask for advising you of the different opportunities and choices you have. I would have liked more choices in color in Travertine Coping color. I think Supply Chain across USA is very challenging for all and is not limited to this company at all. I also had a bit of a surprise from the Plaster Company indicating the entire pool had to be broken up instead of just a portion of the pool which made the cost increase. This was not Ideal Services issue as it was related to the Plaster Company.

Bill provided the most competitive bid to resurface our pool. However, I don't always hire the lowest bidder. Bill knows what he's talking about, he's honest and straightforward, and he had a way about him that made me feel good about hiring Ideal. I was not disappointed. The did the work professionally, on time and on budget. His crews are courteous and hard working and I feel like we got great value for our money. I highly recommend Bill and his team to anyone who wants their pool resurfaced or remodeled.

Working with Bill at Ideal Pool was a very positive experience. I had my pool completely resurfaced and new tile. The workers were very professional- Bill came by frequently to check on progress. Bill was very professional and straight forward to deal with. He understands the service business. His crews are the tidiest workers I've seen. They picked up each night and left no mess. The job as done on time and for the price quoted. Refreshing to have a contractor who doesn't require upfront payment and keeps you informed the whole way. He personally came out to restart the pool and answer any questions. Highly recommend.

Everything was great right up until I gave them the check. They said they would do start up chemicals and did not. I was left on my own to-do that.

They install a new heater on my pool in 1 day. It was a congested area and they rerouted piping and equipment to make great use of the space provided.

Our flooded pool needed resurfacing. They were out ... early and finished the next day! They came and checked the pool daily until they told us it was good to run the Polaris. They cleaned everything up too, more than I expected! Our neighbor is going to use them too!

BEWARE-Ideal Pool Services uses "bait and switch" tactics from the prices they quote. I spoke with Bill and told him I needed cartridge filters cleaned and needed a pump leak repair. Bill didn't want to come to my house and give me a free estimate as stated on his website, because he might have to make a second trip if a part was needed. So he asked me to email a photo of the pump which I did. Someone came out 3 days later. (We have not been able to circulate the water). The man did clean the filters. The leak problem is a plastic screwed fitting, and said he would be back the next morning. Did not happen. The next day I was unable to contact Bill. The following day I sent Bill an email. He replied but increased by 2. I called Bill and told him I would only pay his original. His reply was for me to get someone else to finish the job. I told him that I would not pay anything for not competing the job. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR PROJECTS.

I was told by the technician that it would take a little over $600. to cover either having the motor for the main drive pool pump rebuilt or replaced. that seems quite high for that operation. When I told the tech that I would like to check on other pricing he never called me back. when I started to remove the pump my self I discovered that he had removed the pump motor and took it with him. I haven't paid him any thing, but I would like to have the motor back so I can take it to a vendor that can rebuild or replace the motor for the pump..........Please advise.

Needed installation of new pump motor. He detected a couple of other minor things that made my pool run more efficiently that it has in years.

Bill was very throughout with his inspection and sent us not only the inspection for our pool but also estimates of the work that needed to be done as well as a timeline for such repeairs.

Showed up on the day they were suppose to. There were a few issues but my he worked with us and things were fine. Price was better than the other 3 contractors.

After finding Ideal Pools to be the best reviewed contractor on Home Advisor I hired them to complete a remodel of my pool - new plaster, tile, and flagstone coping. Their prices were quite a bit better than the other bids I received, and the final bill at the end of the project was exactly as we had agreed ahead of time (I was also able to bill to a credit card to get rewards points, a nice bonus). The completed work was all high quality, and any minor issues I had during the construction were quickly handled without a problem. There were a few miscommunications early in the effort (e.g., an email from me with several questions would get a reply only answering one of them), but all in all this was a great experience and I would highly recommend Bill and his crew.

Working with Bill and the crew was an easy process. Each crew was very accomplished and professional, and always left the work area clean. The crews clearly take pride in their work. Time was taken to assure we were pleased with each step of the process and understood the time lines, what would happen next and the proper care of the pool. Bill promptly responded to all phone calls. Excellent customer service.
