Prepped and installed a raw replacement, wooden, exterior door. Installed all hardware: hinges and lockset. Cut door to fit. Sealed bottom of door against rot with silicone sealant and installed weather strip. Sanding and painting were not included. Great job.

My experience with Turnkey started out a little rocky with the estimator and the color matching of the house paint but overall they did a fantastic job. There are still touch ups that need to be addressed but I would recommend them for exterior painting.

If you just need a quick fix and won't worry about appearance, chip away the peeling paint as much as possible, prime and paint the area, and skip the spackle step.

In all cases, it’s more affordable to DIY paint than hire a professional painter, as you’ll save on labor costs, which makes up the large majority of your total when you hire a pro. However, you get what you pay for. Professionals have the equipment and years of experience to tackle a job much more efficiently than most homeowners, and they typically provide better results. It’s often worth the expense to save time and secure a more professional appearance for your paint job.
