Hi, we are MFE Lawn Care. We are a group of active duty Air Force maintainers that have a knack for everything lawn included. The owner, Ethan Rogers, has over 4 years of professional lawn care experience. He has done everything from mowing lawns to entire landscape refurbishment and rebuilding. We are staring something new here in Abilene due to the fact that we got stationed here not too long ago. We put the customer first and will always give the highest quality work. For the time being we will only be doing work on weekends and holidays so we can manage our military work schedule along with this business. At 2H Services we specialize in total landscaping. Anything from general lawn maintenance, and tree care/ removal, to flower bed care, weed removal, pest removal, and dirt work. We also have access to boom lifts for larger tree maintenance, and skid/ track steers to handle any jobs that might require one, such as drilling fence post holes, breaking slabs, clearing lots, and many other services.

If you’re not restricted to concrete, however, you can consider alternative driveway apron ideas, such as asphalt, pavers, or gravel. You can also stamp the concrete for an interesting texture, add color to the concrete for a little extra character, or add a swirled trowel finish to your concrete driveway apron.

Gravel is one of the few driveway materials that can handle rain the second it’s installed. Unlike asphalt, which needs days to set, or concrete, which requires weeks to cure, gravel is ready as soon as it’s compacted. It’s naturally permeable, allowing water to drain straight through—with no risk of pooling or surface damage. Gravel driveways are one of the most affordable, at $1 to $3 per square foot, and can also last upward of 100 years.

A traditional driveway gate isn’t your only option when installing a barricade in front of your driveway. A security gate like a swing gate, double swing gate, bi-folding gate, vertical gate, or pivot gate could work just as well as your driveway gate—if not better for your home depending on which qualities you’re after.
