"We had G.L. Hunt come out to assess our pier and beam foundation after noticing a crack in the garage. They were the second company to come out and the second company to say that the foundation had not failed. There was however a lack of drainage around the foundation. It is an older home (1950's) and did not have any drainage around the foundation and no gutters. The house sits on a street that slopes. We scheduled G.L. Hunt to install drainage to help move water away from the foundation and have gutters installed. The work crew arrived at the scheduled date and time and worked diligently over 2 days to install a french drainage system. Gutters were installed the following week and connected to the system. The workers were neat and used the soil displaced by the drains to level an area in the backyard."

My only criticism is that Brown sub'd out the plumbing test to Olshan, which got in over its head on a clean out installation of a 3-inch cast iron pipe in the plumbing system of my 1962 house. Ultimately, I went with another plumber to do the repair, but Brown was understanding and apologetic about the deal. Browjn paid for the clean-out installation, and did everything they could do get Oslshan to repair the pipe, but I came out a little bit to get a better plumber out there to do the pipe repair. Overall, I'd recommend Brown in a heartbeat. Lifetime, transferable warranty; reasonable price; and a great job! Only caution would be to have a good, trusted plumber in your back pocket in case Brown's plumbing sub gets sketch on you."

"I would like to thank the gentlemen at Morgan Leak Detection for fixing our clogged drains so quickly.  The shower drain was almost completely backed up and the bathtub drain in a separate bathroom had not drained well in years.  A previous plumber had come out and several days before and was unable to locate the clogs only to make the problem worse.  The guys from Morgan quickly realized that it was the drain itself in the bathtub (not the line) that was clogged with various leftover junk from a tub replacement years ago and got that working right away.  They were also very persistent in exploring and discovering the shower drain clog and unlike the other plumber did not give up after snaking the line only 4 feet.  Since the service I needed was not what the special was originally for I did pay more as I expected,  but not nearly as much as I thought it was going to be.  They were also kind enough to take a quick look and give us an estimate on a hose bibb replacement we are planning to have done at a later date.  My family and I really appreciate how quick and thorough they were at getting the job done on a Saturday morning.  Thanks again Guys!
