Small jobs welcome

"I retained MDMs services to trim some mature and tall trees on my 1 acre lot. A number of the trees needed to be trimmed to keep limbs from touching and damaging my roof, while other trees needed to be topped to clear an obstructed view. MDMs crew spent nearly 2 days doing the work, and I am quite satisfied with the outcome. The crew was adequately supervised, performed their work in a safe and professional manner and responded to my requests for adjustments in the work along the way. All tree trimmings were removed in a timely manner and cleanup afterwards was very good. I would be happy to use their services again when the need arises."

"Kory and his team did a great job and delivered on every promise and deadline. The crews were prompt and did a great job of taking care of our home while working. They worked hard to minimize the damage from falling debris during removal and the final job looks outstanding. Very happy that I went with Woodlands Roofing!"

Leaf Removal questions, answered by experts

It is safe to remove old linoleum, but it may require the help of a specialist due to the risk of asbestos in the material. Before you cut into linoleum or try to peel it up, have it tested for asbestos. If it tests positive, professionals will need to remove it to prevent the risk of health issues from airborne toxic particles. If it’s asbestos-free, DIY removal is possible and safe.

By using PPE, sealing work areas, and following containment procedures.

The EPA enforces hazardous waste laws and ensures people dispose of their hazardous waste responsibly. Depending on where you live, your state’s hazardous waste regulatory agency may also enforce these laws. Individually, it’s up to each household to properly dispose of their hazardous waste.

Embarking on a kitchen demolition comes with its share of risks to keep in mind. Think of potential encounters with asbestos, sharp objects, and power tools—not to mention the peril of structures wobbling or unexpected plumbing surprises. And, of course, you will be surrounded by dust and debris throughout the process. All of the above makes safety gear necessary, or you can consider hiring a qualified professional.

If the lead paint is in a place that is not easily disturbed and is not flaking or deteriorating, you do not necessarily need to remove it. Lead is toxic when dust particles or flakes from peeling lead paint are ingested. If people are not in the area with the lead paint, it may be safe to leave it in place. You still may want to consider encapsulation with a paint formulated for covering lead-based paint, just for an added layer of protection.
