Hugh Smith's restoration and refinish work is top notch, second to none, and his rates are unbelievably low. Understandably, his work is in great demand, and he is usually backlogged. Do NOT expect a quick turn around on restoration work, but waiting on Hugh to do the job is well worth time...

They took off the upholstered parts and saved them for the upholsterer. They repaired all loose joints. The table top was a bleached mahogany veneer, which had been sanded down and refinished improperly in the past. Colin Smith purchased new veneer, bleached it to match, and installed the inlaid...

Picked up table and took it to his shop. Sanded table and restained table. Removed all dents and scratches and put finishing seal on table. It looks great o Mr. Smith told me it would take 4-6 weeks to do the job and he delivered as promised. I would recommend him to anyone.
