"Jamal was very thoughtful and did a great job painting several walls and ceilings in my home, including patching cracks. He paid a lot of attention to details and explained things carefully. He worked very hard and was anxious to please."

"I have a 5 year old GE refrigerator they replaced the icemaker The original icemaker produced about 15-20 ice cubes per cycle but the one they replaced it with only produces 5-6 ice cubes per cycle. This is quite a difference it took it 2 days to fill the ice bin I find this unacceptable but I feel I have no recourse, Other than that I think everything else was very acceptable. I think I should have been informed of this."

"

Our point of contact was Gary Courtright who did an excellent job in communicating, estimating, and coordinating the repairs and roofing shingle replacement for our rather large and expansive home in Fruit Heights, Utah, where in some years, the canyon winds through our town can exceed 100 MPH.  After 25 satisfactory years on our old roof, we contracted Kimball to complete some extensive roofing plywood repairs, re-flashing, re-membraning, and re-edging of the entire 6,000 SF roof.  Per Gary's expert advice, plus Louie and Rohojolo outstanding installation, we ended up with a very attractive and fully sealed roof that will probably last twice as long as our previous roof.  We now have a Tamko 50 year architectural shingled and ridged roof that can now withstand winds up to 150 MPH.  SUPER. JOB WELL DONE !

Snow Removal questions, answered by experts

If you do end up with frozen gutters, it's important to thaw them correctly. Thawing your gutters slowly is far safer than trying to break apart the ice. Once you get through the ice, bring in a gutter professional to check out the effectiveness of your heated system.

In most cases, it is best to leave icicles on your roof and allow them to melt naturally. You should only consider removing them if they are heavy enough to cause damage to your home or pose a risk to people below. Since removing icicles can be dangerous, it is recommended to hire a professional for the job if you have immediate concerns. To prevent the issue from recurring, you should address the underlying cause, such as improving your home's insulation or installing roof heating coils.

While it’s less common than on other kinds of roofs, yes, ice dams can form on metal roofs. Metal roofs, particularly those with snow guards installed, can still accumulate ice at the roof edge, although ice dams on metal roofs are less likely to cause roof or interior damage than on traditional asphalt shingle roofs.

Ice dam removal costs anywhere from $650 to $2,000, with most people paying about $1,200 for this service. The price you pay will depend on a few factors, including the removal method. If your pro uses salt or tablets to get rid of the ice dams, you might only pay $200 to $300. But if they use steam, your costs could increase to $800 to $1,200.

Snow removal services cost between $50 and $200, depending on the type and size of the job. Ice-melting services are often offered alongside snow removal and other winter maintenance scheduling. You can contact a local snow removal service to ask about rates in your area, and if they offer residential removal services.
