"Initially it was good, then one of the workers could not replace three of the balances which helps to open and close windows. He was going to talk to his boss and get his help. We also had a window frame break and could not afford a whole new window, I requested they try to glue it with silicon glue. I was told by the worker that he would talk to his boss. I called three or four times trying to get them to come back and they never returned my calls or came back. Three of my windows that did not get the balances do not open and I paid them to replace the balances. The broken window, even if the silicon glue did not hold I would have appreciated their effort. Instead, I received zero returned calls and they believe when I paid for the Glass Truck to replace my balances that it was ok to not finish the job."

Black spots on the bottom or along the edge of your bathroom mirror are caused by oxidation behind the mirror glass. When moisture and air are trapped between the glass and the backing, they react and cause discoloration. This is sometimes referred to as “mirror rot.” You’ll need to separate the glass and the backing to fully remove it.

You should avoid multi-surface cleaners, bleach, and any cloth or scrubbing material that has a rough surface when cleaning mirrors. Multi-surface cleaners and bleach will get smudges and debris off of the glass, but they more often leave behind cleaner residue because they don’t evaporate like a glass cleaner or rubbing alcohol. Additionally, any abrasive material or even the scrubbing side of a sponge can scratch your glass or coatings on the glass, gradually making the mirror look hazy.

You should always pack glasses standing up. It will eliminate the pressure that comes with weight when delicate items are stacked on top of each other horizontally. Don’t forget to wrap each glass individually with bubble wrap, and don’t add anything on top except for additional padding. Always mark these boxes as fragile.

Once you’ve gotten any scuff marks, grime, and burn marks off your glass stovetop you can use vinegar to finalize the clean without leaving streaks. Just put some white vinegar in a spray bottle and spritz it onto the stovetop before wiping it in a consistent direction with a microfiber cloth.

For small, non-pressure-related cracks, you can fix them using two-part epoxy. This spares you the cost and hassle of replacing the glass. Simply clean the surface and remove any debris or dirt, wait for the glass to dry, then spread an even layer of mixed epoxy solution over the crack. You can use a putty knife or rubber spatula to push the epoxy into the crack.
