Got an estimate the next day, scheduled the job immediately. Workers were prompt, professional, and courteous. They did the job and cleaned up afterward. Would recommend for replacing broken window panes.

I have a China Cabinet that needed to have the glass door replaced that was broken. Juan's crew came and measured and replaced the glass. After they installed the glass on the door, they made sure it was securely fastened. Was very pleased and happy with the outcome of the work.

We were very pleased with Sunset Glass Company's courteous and speedy service. They came the same day we contacted them via Angie's List and did their work without a hitch. It took very little time for them to perform the task. We particularly liked the fact they come over to the house with a sheet of glass and cut it on site to fit the window pane. Juan and his brother were great guys, too. Very easygoing based on our experience. Good quality and excellent service! I highly recommend Sunset Glass!

Sunset Glass made three pieces of glass to go on top of furniture. I called, & two men were here within the hour to measure. The quote arrived a couple of days later, slightly cheaper than two I already had. I emailed Juan, told him to go ahead. He called the next day, the glass was ready & delivered that day. Fantastic service & it all looks great. I would totally recommend.

It was fine. The workers were very professional and quick. The job took less time than what the owner quoted (3 hours instead of 5-6 hours). I still paid the amount he quoted for the 5 to 6 hour job. I would have thought he would have adjusted the amount given it took less time but he didn't. That was my only disappointment. The work was fine and I would use them again.

Thieves broke the tempered glass on my back door one night. We had it covered with plywood, but I needed a quick replacement. The next morning, Juan came out to measure the opening and give me an estimate. He called back an hour later with estimates for tempered glass and laminated (as I requested). I went with the laminated, and Juan sent someone out to install it the next day. His installer (Gabriel) was very professional, and he did a great job.

Punctual, knowledgeable, and fair priced. Worked hard, suggested cardboard instead of boarding up window. Kept us informed the whole way. Will use again.

They did a poor job replacing the glass on my sliding door. The new glass cracked after a day or two due to the subpar workmanship. I called Juan, the owner of Sunset Glass, he said not to worry he will send someone to replace the glass shortly.  Later after several calls to find out when his employee was coming to repair the bad work, I finally reached Juan, he said he was on another call and will call back in five minutes....that was over three weeks ago and still no call back.  Now I have a cracked glass on my sliding glass door and lost $400.  I definitely would NOT recommend Sunset Glass Co.

It was a small job during a busy holiday weekend and they were fast, punctual and did a professional job. I was treated the same as if I had a big job for them. I was very pleased with their service and would use them again.

Scheduling was so-so and they have no office for you to go to.  Because of this, communication is all done via the phone.  The owner's brother was who came out to do the work and I would not use them again.

I called Juan on a Friday and he came out an hour later to give an estimate. This broken window was the indoor pane of a double paned window (3.5' x 6'). His estimate was $350 but he'd have to order the glass so he couldn't do it until the next day. I had to put it off for 2 days which was fine for him. He showed up on time and removed the broken window but said he' have to take the frame back to the shop to repair. An hour and a half later he was back with Ivan to assist him in installing the heavy window which took 10 minutes. They were both very polite and thorough. The job couldn't have gone better.

Service provider was excellent. Juan returned my enquiry call promptly, and provided me with an immediate appointment to take measurements. He gave me a very reasonable quote, and finished the work within the promised timeline. His work was good quality. He even went the extra mile to check and secure at no extra cost, a second bathroom's glass door, which needed an adjustment after being installed by another contractor. I would certainly call him back for a similar job, if needed.

They provided very prompt estimate and easy to schedule. They replace the window in a professional manner and make sure it works as intended.

As much as I was unhappy with the service, I put off writing this review because the older Mr. Delatorre always seemed so nice and agreeable to making things right. But at the end of it all, I still ended up with shoddy cheap screen doors that less than a year later are falling apart. They in no way compare to the original ones that they took out and were to replace.
Let me start by sharing the good experience I had with Sunset Glass Co. The first time we used SGC was in 2012. Mr. Delatorre came out. He was prompt, professional. He replaced several window cranks for $75 each including parts. At the time, he looked at the screen doors and said they would need replacing in the future but for now he could make sure they worked properly.
In the fall of 2013, we were having a bathroom redone and the window needed to be fixed before the construction began. Because of the good first experience, I called on SGC. I felt since they were coming out to do the window that we should have all the cranks replaced and finally replace the two large screen doors.
The elder Mr. Delatorre did not come out. His son and a worker came out to do the job. The son worked on the cranks while the worker was in charge of replacing the screen doors. 
I praise the younger Delatorre for spending the time he did on the bathroom window, which was warped and a challenge. He also made sure he found a short crank so that the kitchen window could be opened. 
The original screen doors were substantial and had aluminum screens. The worker cut the new frame and mounted a plastic screen to the replacement in our backyard. Before I get to the poor quality, I must say the worker did not have any respect for your yard or the fact that we asked he be careful as to not let the indoor cat out. The cat did get out. 
The screen doors were cheap and were not comparable to the originals. They both had jagged spots where the screws he used to mount the plastic screens jutted out. The screen frame was flimsy and the plastic screen was cheap and fit loosely. The screen door was $1000 job. 
When I saw them, I called the elder Delatorre to voice my concern and disappointment with quality of the screen doors and the workmanship. He apologized and said they would replace them. They did replace the plastic screen with aluminum screen. But the screws still jut out and while they were replacing the screens, the worker broke the latch that locks and opens one of the doors. 
The elder Delatorre and I spoke repeatedly. He assured me that his son would return to fix the latch as well as the doors overall appearance. But they never actually rescheduled a visit back.
Today, the latches on both doors are broken. The screws pop off and we have to put back in. The screen doors are cheap and just plan crap. 
I considered giving SGC a C/D because of all the work the younger Delatorre put into the bathroom window but in the end the overall job was just shoddy.
