"We had an issue with our sidewalk and curb in front of our house being unlevel and possibly a safety hazard. Jakalon was a one man show last Saturday. He was courteous, informative and professionally personable when he spoke with my husband and I. We would check on him and his work during the process and he would stop and share what he was doing. We were able to sign off on his work in a satisfactory time frame. Thanks J, we like your work!"

Recently relocated to Grayson County. We've been serving Texas and other states for 13 years in building ground up commercial buildings, additions, and renovations. We specialize in structural steel fabrication and erection, custom steel fabrication, gates and entryways. We were designing and building Barndominiums before people knew what they were. We do the job right or not at all. We guarantee our work, and we often takeover failing or abandoned projects and get the project completed. We've built and have tore down and rebuilt many very large churches. We've done a lot of historical renovations and dealt woth the historical regulations, etc. We've done a lot of work at The Grandscape in The Colony Tx. We worked on The Dallas Morning News, The Statler Hotel as well as many other hotels, high end retail and entertainment districts. \n We have worked and a General contractor holding responsibility for a project from conception to planning and development, through completion.

"Great. I had 2 engineers look at my foundation already and another repair firm. The first repair firm said I needed piers. Then an independent engineer said i could probably do well just installing root barriers. Then another engineer looked at it 12 mos later and said I needed 13 piers. Then A1 came out and was such a delight to talk to. They recommended 12 piers but said I can wait and see if it will resolve itself with watering and root management. They offered to come back to re-evaluate once I had better moisture management. They had better advice and insight for free than the 2nd engineer, who seemed like he was going to get a commission for recommending some work for firms. I definitely trusted A1 more. Pretty sure I will use them when I am ready to get the work done."

"Miguel was prompt and kept in good communication.  He worked with me to verify type of gravel used as the base, and assisted with installation of an improved vapor barrier I supplied myself, (two layers of Tu Tuf #4 and form sides consisting of Foamular 150 glued to the concrete permimeter beam in the garage).  Concrete pour of 5 inches of #4-reinforced 4000-psi concrete when very well, sloping 2 inches from back to front, and smoothed nicely by his team throughout the afternoon into early evening.  Highly recommend M & T Concrete, will ask them back for the rest of the driveway.

Concrete Mudjacking questions, answered by experts

The method involves lifting settled concrete using pressurized cement slurry via drilled holes. This solves uneven surfaces and prevents further settling.

Most houses are expected to settle over time, but foundation sinking of more than a few inches or uneven sinking of more than an inch for every 20 feet is cause for concern. Any significant or uneven sinking should be assessed by a professional to determine the cause and perform any necessary repairs.

Mudjacking restores level surfaces, prevents further damage, and is more cost-effective than a full replacement.

Trenching and boring are two distinct methods for installing underground utilities. Trenching involves digging a channel using equipment like an excavator, trencher, backhoe, or shovel. While it is a simpler process, it causes significant disruption to the surface, landscaping, and surrounding ecosystems.

Boring, also known as directional boring, is a less invasive alternative that uses a drill to create a tunnel for utility lines without disturbing the surface. This method is more precise and is ideal for installations that need to go underneath buildings, roads, or bodies of water. Although boring is less disruptive, it is generally more expensive than trenching.

The timeframe is generally a few hours, allowing for immediate use post-hydration, ensuring minimal disruption to surrounding activities.
