"We were needing sod installed in part of the backyard and part of the front. We also needed a drainage issue in the front yard caused be gutter extensions fixed. Robert came we walked the yard and he made sod recommendations for our backyard. He submitted his bid and we accepted his quote. The work done from tilling and leveling the areas were on point as was the solution for the drainage being extended. His crew were very professional and also took the time to do the job correct. I would use him for all future needs from sod to landscaping."

"The owner who gave me the quote was not present during the actual work. Four men were sent out to do the work but it was hard to communicate with them because they didn't speak English fluently. I turned my questions over to the one who spoke English the best and then he translated for me. I didn't know who was in charge. They completed the work in a timely manner and the site was cleaned up well. The cement was still wet and I liked the finished product so I paid them the full amount the day they finished which was on June 21 of 2019. When the cement dried, there were gouges in the slab that were more evident so when I was asked to review their work on June 25, I told them I would after they came back to fill and smooth out the gouges. I sent pictures as well. Luisa H. (the office manager) told me twice they would come out and do that but 6 months passed and nothing had been scheduled and no one had come out. After waiting for 6 months to give them a chance to fix the problem I submitted an unfavorable review and was then placed immediately on the schedule for 1-14-20 to have the problem fixed. I am now updating my review at the office manager's request. The returning workers (Ben and Antonio) came out the day scheduled at around 3pm. I was only given 30 minutes ahead notice of the actual time they would be arriving. Knowing if it was going to be morning or afternoon would have been more considerate of my time but a time frame was not given to me even though I asked. But the workers were very skillful at correcting the problem with no communication issues and they were done at about 4:30 pm. They were very polite, respectful, and friendly. The lower front left corner of the slab connecting to the driveway had a crack which they filled in but the rain the following day washed it away. Not something to call them back out for though. I did discover a hairline crack in that same area that developed over the course of the 6 months which concerned me and I pointed out to Ben but he said it should be ok and shouldn't crack any further. Only time will tell though. Looking back, I would have preferred that the original workers would have covered my landscaping bricks with plastic before pouring the cement so there would be no residue left on the brick. Arbors and Patios has skillful workers to get the job done but management needs to improve their customer service skills before I feel comfortable with hiring them again."

"If you need any stonework done (retaining wall, outdoor living areas, anything along those lines), I would highly recommend Tecton Stoneworks. In fact, I can't recommend them enough, as they did a great job for us. I hired them to replace a retaining wall along a drainage easement on the property and the work they did was exceptional. They demolished the old retaining wall (railroad ties from the 1990s), laid a footer, and put in the new wall with no problems at all. We decided to go with the less expensive option of using blocks for the retaining wall instead of utilizing the more decorative stone that would typically be used because this retaining wall is facing a drainage easement and curls around to a drainage ditch. They put capstones on the top of the wall, mortared everything in place, and added a lot of drainage which has already reduced the amount of standing water our yard retains after rain. Additionally, they put the fence posts inside the retaining wall which makes yard maintenance easier in years to come. And, above all, it looks good. Beyond just the quality of the work, Aaron was honest and upfront about the process. He was polite, respectful, explained anything I needed clarification on, and generally was a pleasure to work with. I am very glad that I hired them for this project."
