"Honest Tree Trimming is anything but honest. The wife came out and we spent an extensive amount of time going over exactly what I wanted to have done with my trees. The day that the husband came out to do the work I myself had to work but my mother was at my home. I felt confident in the fact that we had gone over everything so thoroughly that it would be done correctly without me being there. When I got home from work I was shocked to see the job was not done correctly. When I called to ask why I was told that what the husband did was exactly what he was told to do and that if I wanted the rest of what I asked to be done I would have to pay an additional $900! So basically the wife came over but instead of giving me a quote in paper form she did it verbally (I never got a bill of receipt either) so the husband did what he wanted to do and there was no paper trail to go back and prove that what they did was inappropriate. At that point it was my word against hers. I spent $1400 and got basically nothing done I had so extensively requested. Now here we are a few months later after me spending $1,400 exactly what I was afraid was going to happen happened! A massive limb in my backyard fell from a tree. One of the exact limbs that I was concerned about to begin with - one they were supposed to have taken care of but I was told would cost me an additional $900! Honest tree trimming not only swindled me out of my money because they did not provide the service I requested they then tried to charge me again for the service they already promised! How two faced is that! They nearly killed my dog who was in the backyard when the limb fell - if it had hit him directly he would have died. I am so furious at this company! I would not suggest them to anyone! Their lack of proper paper quotes (or even electronic for that matter) and the fact that they lied about what they would give me for the price they set and then try to charge me more is heinous. It is heinous that their negligence and deceptive work ethics nearly killed my pet too. "
