While he was in the attic, the tech must not have put down the correct model number. They called us to get the correct number or they would have had to have sent the tech out again. It was then that I realized what he had done to get the fan working. We then called the landlord telling him what he had done and that we had taken pictures expressing our concern about their work. The technician came back out and would not tell me how long it would take for them to get the part. I told him that I had a local company that had the part we needed already and asked that if I could get the part from them if he could fix it then. He ended up saying no and that it would be about 2 more weeks before he would have the part. After another week and a half of daily phone calls from me and the landlord to BFS, they finally got the part locally and fixed the AC, probably because they were tired of hearing from us.
Description of Work: We contacted them on the 14th letting them know that we had two infants in the house and needed our AC fixed. The technician put in a temporary fix to get the fan blowing by splicing wires and affixing them to the unit with electrical tape, leaving some of the other wires exposed amongst the insulation lying in the attic. This was an obvious fire hazard.
