"Gabe was very responsive to my job request and was able to ID my problem, making arrangements to have resolved by next morning. His crew arrived and immediately fix my leaking roof vent and went beyond to check each additional vent. Going the extra step. Liberty Roofing is a company you want to do business with. Highly recommended. JA. Oak Point, TX"

I’m a third-generation contractor who grew up around roofing and construction. That background taught me to take pride in doing the job right and treating people fairly. Our work in the Frisco and Dallas–Fort Worth area is built on the same values I was raised with—honesty, quality workmanship, and standing behind what we do.

"Nunez Roofing is a outstanding roofing company! I was recommended to them by a couple of acquaintances at work. My old roof has been through it all, from hail storms to tornadoes. It was time to replace it. After talking to several roofing companies around the area. I found Nunez Roofing to have the best customer service. Alex was patient with me and most importantly gave me honest and accurate estimates!! His crew was phenomenal, they were very quick and efficient and did a extremely high quality job! When the job was done they cleaned up very thoroughly making sure all the nails and debris was cleaned up! I highly recommend them to everyone if you want your roof done right and efficiently!"

"Rep. checked entire system. He found several wires not connected properly and fixed this. He also made recommendations regarding the attachment of the panels to the rood that would provide more stability and leakproofing. The representative appeared to know what he was doing - much better than others, including the representative who was engaged by the roofer (who replaced our rood due to hail damage) to disconnect/connect the panels."

Skipping the installation of a drip edge or gutter apron can lead to significant water damage. Without this component, water is more likely to seep under roofing materials or leak behind gutters, damaging the fascia, soffits, siding, and even the interior of your home, such as the attic. Over time, this moisture can cause rot, mold, and deterioration. In colder climates, a missing drip edge also increases the risk of ice dams, which can lead to expensive repairs. A drip edge is an essential part of a roof's drainage system, and some local building codes may even require its installation to protect the home from water damage.

To apply for a roofing permit, contact your local building authority. You may visit their office in person or contact them via phone or email. For more information on how to start the process, visit their website.

You can replace a roof in the winter, though it’s not the most popular time to do so. The biggest drawback of winter roofing work is the weather. Snow and ice make for dangerous, slippery working conditions. Plus, shingles can only be installed in temperatures above 40 to 45 degrees.

The best time to replace a roof is in the spring or fall when the weather is mild. However, you can likely save some money by booking the job in the winter off-season, when roofers have more availability.

Whether a metal or shingle roof is better for you depends on your preferences. Standing seam metal roofs require little to no maintenance, but if you install a screw-down metal roof where the fasteners are exposed, the gaskets on the fasteners will dry rot and need to be replaced. Generally, screw-down metal roofs need to be re-screwed every 15 to 20 years.

Metal roofs are energy-efficient and have extended warranties, while asphalt shingles are less durable than most. They tend to lose color and get damaged over time, and absorb heat from the sun.

Framing a roof can take from several days to a week or more, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, the number of people working on the framing, weather conditions, and more. Roof framing is often the final step of framing a house, although in some cases, the roof may be framed before the interior of the home in order to offer more protection from the elements.
