"I asked for an estimate, which was given within a couple of days.  The crew showed up on time to replace the rotted wood,  Pat Chambers came out to inspect it.  The crew showed up the following day to paint.  I believe the entire process took 3 days, except for the replacement of the window molding which was no longer made anywhere.  A man who does their woodwork came out to inspect it.  He came up with a way to replace it.  That part took a week.  It was done perfectly. 
The front door had been replaced and that crew did a sloppy job on the trim.  Chambers made it look original. 
On the estimate, any deviation in pricing is explained beforehand.

"I did a lot of research on plumbers and out of the half dozen plumbing companies with the best overall ratings TX Quality Plumbing not only the highest rating, but they were the least expensive as well.  They showed up on time and immediately got to work.  It took them about 5 hours to complete the job.  The guys were very professional and friendly.  After they inspected everything the head plumber told me that he was concerned about my pipes (galvanized and over 40 years old) and that they will eventually need to be replaced.  He was especially concerned with the piping that comes out of the water heater and if nothing else I should replace those for now.  I agreed and they came back out the next day and replaced the pipes.  So for replacing my 50 gal water heater, replacing two pipe, several feet each, running a new drain line from the attic to the outside cost me $1,600.  Even with the extra unexpected cost they still beat everyone else's price for just the water heater replacement.  They also gave me a ballpark estimation on how much it would cost me to replace all my pipes based on 3 1/2 bath house and the price they quoted me was so much less then what I was expecting based on other peoples horror stories.  I will be using them for that big job as well!!
