"Reads Pressure Washing provided very professional service. The 2 workers who performed the job were very polite, efficient & hard working. Job well done. I intended to hire them again for our next project, pressure washing our deck & porch, in a few months."

"They were prompt and did exactly as promised. Very professional, and we were impressed by the “soft wash” technology; this upgraded method was comparably priced by DM, to a standard pressure wash, a lesser quality service. Would recommend 100%"

"My husband and I hired Daniel and his crew to replace rotted posts at our lake home. We knew one post was rotted. Since it was holding up the second floor we were concerned so Daniel sent his guys the very next day. They discovered there were three rotted posts and one wasn?t even connected to the second floor it was supposed to be supporting. They replaced and painted the posts that day. They also replaced, floated and painted drywall near our laundry area inside. Everything turned out perfect! We couldn?t be happier and grateful for Daniel handling our concerns so quickly."

"Colligo Systems always takes pride in their work, but seeing it firsthand on my own place was impressive. I had them power wash my driveway, sidewalks, and the entire house siding/roof areas. The difference was night and day—years of built-up dirt, mildew, and grime just vanished without any damage to the surfaces. They showed up on time, explained the process (including using the right pressure and soft wash techniques where needed), worked efficiently, and left everything spotless—no mess left behind. The hot water made a huge difference on the stubborn stains, and everything looks fresh and renewed. Pricing was fair, no hidden fees, and the communication was excellent from quote to finish. If you're in the Conroe/Texas area and need reliable pressure washing for your home, driveway, or anything else—residential or commercial—go with Colligo Systems. Honest, professional, and top-notch results."

Pressure Washing questions, answered by experts

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends using an EPA-registered disinfectant product to disinfect a house properly. If such a product isn't handy, a strong bleach solution can disinfect high-touch surfaces. Before hiring a professional, be sure to discuss the type of chemicals and disinfectants they plan to use to ensure they’re safe for household use.

While a pressure washer is certainly powerful enough to remove old and peeling paint, this is not a great idea to do yourself. The pressure washer is so powerful that you could actually damage the walls as you strip away the paint. It’s best to leave paint stripping to the pros.

No, you should not use a pressure washer or power washer on roof shingles, including asphalt shingles. The high water pressure is too strong and can damage the shingles by loosening their adhesive, forcing water underneath them, or causing them to fall off. The safer and better option is soft washing with a pump sprayer. For best results and to avoid damage, consider hiring a local roof cleaner to clean your shingles safely.

Pressure washing pros use several factors to determine fence pressure washing costs—and one of the main factors they consider is the fence’s material. The material dictates the required PSI—which, in turn, affects the amount of labor needed for the job.

Contractors may also consider the number of gallons per minute (GPM) needed to pressure wash specific materials. GPM, which refers to the rate of water being released from a pressure washer, helps determine how long a job will take for specific fencing materials.

Whether you need to winterize your pressure washer depends on where it will be stored. If it's kept in a location where temperatures could drop to freezing, any liquid left in the water pump can freeze, expand, and cause severe damage to the machine. To prevent this, you can add antifreeze to the pump. While emptying the machine with compressed air is an alternative, it can be a tedious process and may not remove all the liquid. If you can store the pressure washer in a relatively warm place with no risk of freezing, you won't need to add antifreeze. However, regardless of storage conditions, it is good practice to empty the gas chamber and refresh the oil before storing it for the winter.
