"Called Lifeline to find a leak in wall behind the fridge. Discovered it was an improperly capped feedline to the icemaker outlet for fridge. They replaced the cap and stopped the leak. We discovered the the house had in the floor main water feed lines, and the plumber had to knock out holes in several places before he found the line leading to the icemaker line. But after all that, he chose to not cut the line and cap it there.
So he made a mess trying to find the leak and a solution, did fix it, but cost me another couple hundred to get a handy man in to fix the drywall holes.
But really bothered me was he kept pitching to me to re-plumb the entire house as the lines were old and being in the concrete slab was going to continue to be a problem, even after I politely told him it was not a solution I was interested in right now. Didn't take no for an answer.

"Rob and his team are truly amazing! They came in and efficiently installed a root block in our backyard on a Thursday. The following Tuesday they returned and installed a drainage system for our backyard with three catch basins and run off into the street. In the front yard they cut the grass into sod pieces before digging the trench and when finished replaced the grass making it almost imperceptible that they had done the job. Rob is an encyclopedia of information about trees and landscaping and he is always willing to share what he knows.
