"J.A.Z. Grout Restorer's did a great job for us! In fact, they did more than what we originally called them to do. We called them to restore the grout around our bathtub but also stepped up to additional grouting once they arrive."

"Just within a few hours of making contact with Mr. Antonio, he came to our business, inspected our floors and gave a reasonable quote. He came back the very next evening and worked through the night to restore the floors to a mirror shine in time for our Grand Opening!"

"Mine was a small job (to repair a broken apart corner of my countertop), but still one I wanted done. The job was done on the same day I requested the service at what I thought was a fair price, and it was done so well that you have to look VERY closely at the specific area in question to be able to see where it was repaired. I would recommend this business without any reservations."

"Fantastic! Please do not hesitate to hire Phillip he is a master of Granite. We had a broken sink around the faucet. Called several companies but could not nail down a price or a time to service. Phillip quoted a super fair price was exceptionally professional and left our granite shining and reconditioned like the day it was put in. Did I mention same day service? Who does that? Five stars!! The repair was flawless!! Highly recommend! Lucky to find this man! Thanks Angiâ s list!!!!"

"The service and speed with which Stone Designs was able to do my quartz countertop project was amazing. Took less than a week from reaching out and asking for an estimate to final completion. Very fairly priced amongst the other local and bigger box completion. Excellent!"

Marble Restoration questions, answered by experts

Sintered stone and quartz are both low-maintenance materials resistant to water damage and scratching. However, quartz can be damaged by temperatures over 150°F, while sintered stone is heat-resistant up to 300°F. Both materials are comparable in cost, so ultimately, the decision will hinge on your preferences.

Since marble is a porous material, it is more prone to water spots than other countertop options. Fortunately, pure water doesn’t damage your marble, but if the water is acidic, it can cause stains or water spots. Resealing throughout the year can help increase marble’s water resistance, too.

Standing water can lead to surface discoloration if your granite countertops are improperly sealed. However, it’s possible to remove hard water stains with a baking soda paste. Take more care with acidic liquids, such as fruit juice or red wine, which can leave more permanent stains. That’s why it’s so important to reseal these surfaces regularly.

Yes, stains can often be removed using a poultice paste that draws out the stain. The paste is applied, allowed to dry, and then removed, lifting the stain from the stone.

Yes, in some instances, homeowners can have their heat-damaged quartz countertops repaired. However, it greatly depends on the severity. A pro can buff out minor discolorations. Epoxy kits are also available to fix minor cracks. Sadly, deep burns causing extreme resin damage may require a complete replacement.
