"We got our roof replaced with T-Rock roofing and we more than impressed with the results. We used Brady, one of the project managers, and he took care of everything and made it super easy on us. We also used them for our AC units not just our roof and love all the work they did. Highly recommend for any roofing or construction needs!"

Customers say: True professional

"Russell was by far the best contractor we have ever used. Had a roof leak with some hail damage. He came by and looked our roof over and gave us a quote. Also looked over the interior of our home and was able to get our insurance company to repair and paint our ceiling also. He and his crew were at our home within a week. Had the roof done in one day. Gutters were done the following day. Excellent work. Extremely happy. Russell is a really personable man also. Easy to talk to and he will give you multiple options for your needs. We really really trust him. We did have some hail this last year and I asked him if he would come do an inspection. He was there the next day. No damage. When a man has an impeccable reputation that’s as good as it gets."

"Ray and his team were very professional, most of all he cared about us. My husband had a very bad accident the same time we were about to start our roofing project. It was all overwhelming for us.Ray let us take our time and he never rushed us. Kim at the office sent my husband flowers an balloon. We are very grateful for people like Ray and his group. Thanks again"

"I originally used Quality Tops Roofing over 10 years ago for a roof replacement due to hail damage. The work performed at that time was exceptional. However, it's been during the past several years that Quality Tops has helped with other roofing issues that were due to the poor workmanship from my original home builder. The first major issue they helped alleviate was a roof angle issue that resulted in poor drainage during ice storms that caused a slow, ice leakage into the dining room for several days as the ice melted. The most recent help was a quick turn-around for a Whirleybird replacement/repair even though there had been significant hail damage in the DFW Metroplex. However, where they really sold me on them was that they also discovered an issue I had with some brick mortar that was allowing rain to get through the exterior brick walls into the house. What I thought was a roof issue wound up being something entirely different. That was a major issue with my home, and I would not have realized that without their help. The distance between their Arlington, TX office to my home in Rockwall has never been an issue, and they've always been responsive to the help I've requested. This is a business that has gone outside of the scope of their contracted work and helped protect my home in ways a normal business would not have done. I'll always be grateful for that and will use them for future roof work as well."

Roofing questions, answered by experts

You should definitely be wary of roofing contractors who offer significantly lower prices than their competitors. Most roofers in the area are all dealing with the same cost of materials, and labor costs are often comparable, too. If they’re significantly cheaper than other companies around, it could be a scam. Read reviews and ask other roofing companies and contractors if they’ve heard of the suspected scamming company.

Unlike wood decks, Trex decking doesn’t warp. That’s one of the key benefits of installing this decking material. Over time, common issues with these decks include hard water stains, mold or mildew growth, and stains from food spills. Thankfully, with proper cleaning, you can get rid of most stains and mold.

You can secure roof decorations like inflatables and other Christmas decor by tying a rope or attacking bungee cords to your roof clips. Depending on the pitch of your roof, you can use sandbags for extra support. Like with Christmas lights, avoid using staples or duct tape.

Most manufacturers’ warranties do not cover wind damage to roof shingles, but some companies include a wind warranty rider in their warranty offer. You can purchase this rider to protect yourself, your wallet, and your roof from any damage that might occur from wind. Be sure to read all the fine print and understand any limitations of the warranty.

Yes, roofers can repair and replace roof trusses. In fact, because trusses are such an important part of your roof’s structure, it’s best to have a roofing contractor deal with a damaged truss. If you try to fix the problem without the right skills or knowledge, your roof could sustain further damage or even collapse.
