"It was a big mistake to hire Make Ready Residential, LLC. They required 75% payment up-front, which was the first red flag. They did a terrible job on two shower replacements, placing tile behind one shower head but not the other. The new flooring for the kitchen was supposed to be waterproof, but since they didn't install it correctly, there were gaps between the planks. Where they removed towel holders and had to patch the wall, they used no filler, just painted over the rough sections of the wall. They also neglected to replace the porcelain bolt covers on the base of the toilets. They had to return multiple times before it was right, making a week-long project last two months. This made the cost of using Make Ready much higher than anticipated. In the end, I discovered they did not get permits or inspections for the plumbing replacement they did, although permits are required by both the state of Texas and the city of Carrollton. I would not hire them again. It was a terrible and costly experience."
