"NO TO WINDOW WORLD! update** 12/15/2020. Install date is supposed to be today.... it is 1130 AM with no call to confirm and nobody here to install. I hope their quality of work is opposite from their service, sales and communication. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a window company. The install was supposed to happen during summer.... now its freezing outside, great time to have a hole in your wall. I have waited 4 months and still have not had any install or product recieved. I was told when signing the contract it would probably take 3 weeks but no longer than 2 months. I would have never gone with window world if I knew it was going to take this long and wasnt lied to. I asked for a refund with the promise someone would contact me, nobody has yet. I will NEVER use window world again. This was their test run. I have many other windows and doors to replace. I am glad I didnt choose to have WINDOW WORLD do them all at once. Liars, scam and terrible service. I do NOT recommend Window World unless you want your windows installed Late and lying customer service. I got a call already, and was told "unfortunately there is nothing we can do" basically too bad, we lied and there is nothing we will do to make it right."

We had 40 windows to replace of various sizes and shapes so we did a lot of research to learn about replacement windows. The QUALITY of the windows and the SKILL of the installers are critical. We met with 4 highly-rated replacement companies and chose EcoView for their AAMA & Energy Star certifications and professional staff. The sales rep, Ric, was great, extremely knowledgeable and not pushy. EcoView gave a very reasonable quote for such a large number of windows in all those varying sizes. Windows arrived with a couple of glitches, but with 40 windows that can be expected. EcoView staff immediately resolved the problems ; no hesitancy or arguments from them. I mention this only to reassure that if a problem occurs, EcoView WILL take care of it hassle free. Hugo and his installer team are experts (perfect caulking and clean up).   • Horizontal/sliding: $150–$800

When choosing a type of egress window, consider how you’d like to open it. For example, double-hung egress windows open from top to bottom and let plenty of fresh air in, whereas sliding windows slide open for easy access.  

There are more than five window types, but five of the most popular types include casement windows, sliding windows, double-hung windows, picture windows, and awning windows.
