DrainWorks is the BEST!!! Owning an older home can be challenging. More challenging is getting companies to quote you an honest price. The original quote from “unnamed” company was $10K. Reached out to DrainWorks and they resolved the problem within 2 hours for a fraction, and I mean fraction, of the cost. Their magnet is on my refrigerator for a quick call. Thank you, thank you, thank you for being honest and professional.

I had my downspout drains replaced. They did a great Job. Rob's crew arrived before 8:00am (which is unheard of these days). They were professional, and completed the job the same day.

By far the worst service provider I’ve ever hired in 30 years. We specified a couple of times on at least two phone calls to The Drainworks that our regular plumber had already tried to un-plug the toilet and advised us to hire a plumber with a drain specialty that could remove the toilet from its base, and they assured us they could do that. Instead of sending a licensed plumber, they sent a “technician” who plunged the toilet and in about 5 minutes pronounced it fixed. We thought maybe he used a special type of plunger available only to plumbing professionals. Nope, he said he just used a $2 plunger from the Dollar Store (just like we’d tried many times) and it magically was unplugged. But of course it wasn’t. Do yourself a favor and hire a professional plumbing company that will send a licensed plumber to your home, instead of a technician with a plunger. Ridiculous. After we called to complain, they refunded the $55 they had charged us, as they should have. Clearly they were not qualified to do the type of plumbing work they assured us they were capable of doing.

I was able to schedule an appointment to have the work done the day after I called. The service man arrived on time, wore an appropriate mask per COVID guidelines and used cable to snake out the line from the street. He detected a couple of breaks in the line and told me that eventually it would have to be replaced.

Excellent! Jason and another co-worker were great - very courteous, arrived on time, thorough, great price, even showed my sister what the issue was. ( I had read some of the Angie’s List reviews and suggested she call them. - she lives in NE Columbus in the Forest Park East neighborhood.) The fix was completed same day.

Snaked drain line (approx. 35') to clear clog. I had called my plumber first -- they couldn't get to me for a week! Called The Drainworks and they were out the same day!! Very professional and competent technician. Very good experience.

It turned out to be a very difficult job to access the house drain as the toilet had to be removed but David worked tirelessly for 4 hours, putting a camera down to find obstructions and having to use a special cutter to break through to the last 20ft.

The team of two really cool guys were personable and efficient. They were there promptly at 8am and were done before 2pm. I would recommend them over any of the larger companies who seem to rationalize price gouging with their customers through the use of “big machines” and “years of experience”. If you want a quality job done by two homegrown guys with great personalities and excellent customer service call The Drainworks!

We hired Drainworks because of a clogged and broken gutter drain. There were four total site visits, each of which required to analyze the situation properly, provide an estimate for the final project, and install a new drain. At first, Drainworks tried to unclog the drain but eventually concluded that pipes in the 40-year-old system needed total replacement. The plumbers arrived when scheduled and had the project done entirely within the morning. The new part connects the sump pump drain with the city's curb outlet without leaks, more than one month after completion.

I recently bought an older home which had gutters diverting into the yard. Drainworks was able to come out the day after I requested a quote. The service they provided was to help me locate the drains and they ran a camera to check if they were clogged or damaged, and identify exactly where one of the drains will need to be repaired. They also flushed the drains that are not damaged. This was money well spent and I appreciate the advice they gave on what my next steps should be. The service guy was helpful, friendly, and professional.

These things always happen when you are having company over the weekend and this was no exception. Drainworks couldn't come out over the weekend (the only disappointment in my experience with them). They arrived on time on Monday and got quickly to work. We might have loosed the clog with chemicals over the weekend because it started to flow on Sunday night. This is not a knock on the company or the guy's work. He ran his long snake and the drain flowed freely. I was very satisfied with his effort and professionalism. I'd use them again.

James (Jim) and his team did a great job working on our downspout. His team was able to repair our pipe which was busted around our sidewalk and underneath a large landscaping rock.

A plumber referred me to Drainworks. After getting price quotes from Drainworks and 2 other companies and reviewing each company's reviews, I selected Drainworks. Their price was the lowest and they had comparable reviews to the other companies. It was easy to receive a quote and accept it. Robby answered all of my questions during the quote and afterwards before accepting the quote. The crew was very professional and the project was wrapped up in less than 4 hours. The only issue was they placed dirt in other parts of my yard rather than taking it with them. I ended up contacting Robbi and he had his crew come back out to take away the unused dirt. They pulled up the grass and laid it back down afterwards so I did not need any grass seed. The only thing I had to do was water it everyday for 10 days. It has been almost a month and you can hardly tell any work was done. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others without hesitation.

Bathroom sink wouldn't drain; dishwasher backing up into kitchen sink. Called a little before 9am, got a prompt answer and explanation of cost. They'd send someone right out! Tech called me a couple minutes later to say on his way. Arrived around 9:15am (company logon and tech name on shirt; logo on vehicle) and cleared bathroom drain within 30minutes. I don't think it ever drained that well before! Tech explained dishwasher backup was likely due to sludge build up from non-functional garbage disposal on same drain pipe and that force from a new replacement disposal would likely clear out sludge. I had him clear drain anyway for additional cost. Done in under 30 minutes. Left it pretty clean for messy job; I only had to do minor cleanup of some small sludge spots and a bit of tool box dirt.

It went very well. After the work, you could hardly tell anyone was there. They removed the sod, dug the trench, and put the sod back. Everything looks and works great. I would definitely hire them again if needed.

This was the 3rd time we have used this company. They are always responsive, prompt, and professional. Most importantly, they always correct the problem for which they were contacted, and at a very fair and reasonable charge. Would not consider calling anyone else.

A toilet was not draining properly, made app't (technician came some days later which would be awkward if job were more urgent). By the time he came on agreed date, problem mostly resolved itself. Technician (Justin) was punctual and worked efficiently. I misunderstood him for the (seemingly high) extra cost for using a camera after snaking job over. Justin answered all my questions. He gave 10% Angies List discount to final bill.

It went very well. They were on time for the appointment for an estimate. The price they quoted was the best price I received. They arrived to do the work when scheduled. They worked quickly, did it within the estimated time and did a good job. They did a good job of cleaning up when they were finished. The rain water now flows out to the curb with no problem.

Drainworks showed up unannounced on 30 March to work on replacing the drain. My wife was home and watched them. It took the workers 1.5 hours to complete the job. They did a nice job pulling up the sod and laying the new PVC drain pipe. They replaced the sod but not well. (in fact, I later had to redo it) My wife asked for an invoice to pay the bill but they said one would be sent by the company. I would not recommend this company for the following reasons: 1. INCONSIDERATE: The work was done on the 30th of March. We received the bill on 3 April and James was calling me on 4 April wondering why they had not been paid yet. (first time in my life I have been called like that) I explained we asked to get an invoice the day of service but did not and the company should know they JUST sent us a bill in the mail. I told James my wife had put the payment in the mail that morning. Also, no call was given as to when they would be coming to work on the drain pipe. 2. EXPENSIVE: I can't ding them too much on this because I was gullible enough to accept the estimate BUT you don't have to be. 157.50 for just ONE side scope is high. The equipment was there and would have taken 15 minutes more to do the second side. Also I think 750.00 to replace 30 feet of pvc drain pipe, 9 inches in the ground, was actually way on the high side for 1.5 hours of work for the type they had to do. I was new in town and I think they took advantage of me. They also gave me NO discount on my statement for being an Angie List member. 3. POOR ATTENTION TO DETAIL: The workers did a good job digging up the sod and saving it, and they did a good job putting the drain pipe in. Where they failed was replacing the sod. Once the pipe was in it looks like they just threw the clay clumps back in the hole with no intent to smooth any area or fill in any deficits before they placed the sod on it. Initially, the sod looked good sitting up high but there was nothing underneath it in many spots so the next day I took up all the sod, bought 3 bags of dirt at Home Depot, smoothed it all down and replaced the sod. All the time wondering, "What did I pay 750.00 for?" Bottom line, I would not recommend this company for those three reasons.

Worker arrived right on time and quickly diagnosed the problem. He investigated the sewer drain pipes to determine the source of the clog. He unclogged a kitchen/laundry drain pipe. He was professional, prompt, quick working. I would definitely hire this company again.

Appointment setting was very easy and courteous. They worked within my availability, technician called to let me know when he'd be there and was right on time. Assessed the situation, resolved it quickly, and cleaned up when he was done. Very reasonable price. I will definitely call them again if I have any drain issues. Highly recommend this service provider.
