"The reason for the 4 rating and not a 5 is the sales part of the experiences not the technicians and the work done. Larry was the technician for my water heater. I have previously written a review for the AC installment. Larry is amazing. He has a lot of experience but what impressed me more was the fact he was totally honest & cared about my experience as the consumer. I was actually told by one of the salesman that Daniel’s prices are higher than other companies. He was correct. They seem to want to immediately try to sell a new replacement without considering the customers situation. My water heater is only 15 months old but I clearly got a ‘lemon’ and it took 3 major parts to be replaced before it was fixed. The parts were still covered by the manufacturer warranty but the labor was not. After several trips it was fixed and from my conversations with the salesperson I felt he was pushing for me to purchase a new water heater and not really understanding of the fact that I had just replaced my AC and my water heater was only 15 months old. In the end, Larry, the technician, did the right thing. It has been a week now and my water heater is working fine. I appreciate honesty more than anything when dealing with these things. I feel like I got it but it took some extra pushing on my part and a technician who stood by what he said. The owner or rep of owner replied to my previous review on the Daniel’s site. I hope this review gives him the answer to why I have not given 5 stars for either review."

"My 30-year old hot water heater broke. I contacted my home warranty repair company and, unfortunately, the timeline for service would have been 2 weeks out. That was unreasonable on many points. After waiting 4 days without hot water, I contacted ARS. First, they responded immediately. I set consultation for next day and the salesperson arrived on time, completed the consultation and arranged the install the same day. 2 hours later, two technicians arrived (Christian and Anthony) and WOW! From the moment they arrived until completion their execution, professional prowess and attention was beyond excellent. They kept me informed, removed the old equipment and installed the new upgrade flawlessly. I am so impressed with their performance that I am actually going to schedule my a/c, plumbing and routine maintenance with them going forward. I could say much more, but will in only one word--SUPERB! Many thanks."

"Great. We had a consultation and described our vision for what we wanted (more color, something to make the back yard look less empty). We also had a few specific little problems like straightening our juniper that got knocked askew during Harvey. Alvin provided us with a detailed estimate. It did not have pictures but for me it was descriptive enough so that pictures were not needed. When we approved the estimate, Universal came in soon thereafter and completed the work in two days (including throwing in the little extras like our juniper situation). They also had someone check and adjust our sprinklers to make sure the new plants will get the water they need. The landscaping looks so good. We previously had a few rocks around our front flower beds; they brought in a lot more to line and raise the beds (which makes them look so much nicer), and added mulch as well as new plants. They also used our existing plants that still had life to them (they got rid of the dying ones per our request) and transplanted some of them to other areas in the yard. They installed a new flower bed behind the pool. Per our request, they planted some plants along the fence line to dress it up a little without obstructing the view behind our fence. They chose dwarf crepe myrtles, which I am excited about as a crepe myrtle fan. I can't stop wandering around my yard admiring everything. Of course, some of the plants (like the new dwarf crepe myrtles) are new and small, and will grow out over time, so I know it will look even better in the future. We are very happy, 100% satisfied."

"New Ground Services did an excellent job of resetting my pavers around my pool that had settled over time. The decking looks new again. They also repaired a leak in a pool water pipe as well as cleaned out underground drainage pipes in the yard. The crew of 5 completed these jobs in one day. Supervisor Caesar was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Price was reasonable. I highly recommend this company."
