"Excellent job.  They taped everything off, no spills.  They did not do the trim, only walls, and there was no bleedover onto any trim or any of my furniture or fixtures.  They even removed and reinstalled the tv mount so as not to get any paint on it and to ensure the wall was uniformly painted.  They fixed all dings in my wall to perfection, including some pre-existing sheet rock damage.
They truly went above and beyond.  The paint job looks great.  They also worked FAST and were done 2 hours before they said they would be.  Worked through lunch.

"Jose and his team performed an outstanding job of painting the interior of my home. The team was very professional, arrived on time and finished the job in a timely manner. He asked if I had any concerns throughout the course of the project and was very responsive to my questions. I would definitely use them again for any future painting."

"The team at Ortega’s Painting Services and More provided quality services beyond our expectations. They skillfully repaired sheetrock, painted the interior of our entire home, and provided tree service in under 2 weeks. In addition, they were thoughtful, kind, and overall great people. "Great work at a great price, fast and proficient with good communication throughout the whole process guaranteeing reassurance and detailed description of the work to be done. Got quoted a great price when asked to look at my house and looked confident he could get it done so I made a decision and opted to hire him and his crew. Clean and careful around all furniture making sure it was covered and safe from any paint or staining. The finished work was something I never expect to see again, looking brand new with a wash and repaint he came and went above and beyond for this project!"

Deck Staining questions, answered by experts

Opt for an interior wood stain that is rated for your type of wood. Consider your personal style preferences as well as the overall use of the room when choosing a color. Remember, the color you see at the store may look different on your actual floors once applied. This is why if you have the chance, it’s helpful to test a few options on a scrap piece of wood in the room first. Once you narrow it down, you can test a small patch on an inconspicuous area in the room to see it on the actual floors.

Yes, beginners can use a paint sprayer, but there is a learning curve. It's important to go slowly, read the instructions thoroughly, and spend some time learning the technique. Watching tutorial videos for your specific paint sprayer model can be very helpful. Before starting your main project, practice on a scrap surface to get used to the sprayer and avoid common issues like overspraying, which can cause drips, bubbles, and other imperfections. For safety, always wear a mask and gloves, and be careful not to touch the sprayer's tip when it's in use, particularly with high-powered airless sprayers.

Deck staining or painting safeguards wood against the elements through its protective layer, enhancing decay resistance, prolonging structural integrity, and improving visual appeal.

Whether you can paint over your existing paint depends on what’s on there. Most of the time, you’ll want to sand down or scrape off the paint that’s currently coating your surface. Epoxy paint, for example, won’t let new paint stick to the surface. Latex paint is more forgiving and will accept a new coat, but a primer is recommended if you’re switching colors.

Wood stain is typically dry to the touch within 6 to 12 hours, but it is not fully cured at this point. You should wait at least 24 hours before applying a second coat or a protective finish. For surfaces like decks, avoid walking on them for at least 24 to 48 hours, and wait even longer before placing furniture. The full curing process can take from 24 hours to one week, depending on the type of stain. Factors like high humidity and cold temperatures can extend drying and curing times, so it's wise to allow for extra time in these conditions.
