"Couldn’t have had a better service! Definitely will use for all my in home needs! They were punctual and polite, making sure everything was in working order before leaving! They went above and beyond, walking me through steps over the phone to fix my thermostat after I reset it and the heat/cool function got messed up! These guys won’t disappoint! Hire them!"

"Chase remodeled my patio room from replacing the studs, then walls and windows. Indoor, outdoor paint, and mini-split A/C installed. He does it all and communicates well which is important because I'm out of state and this job was on my rental property."

"The entire process for installation of my iSpring RO system was flawless and stress-free. He was professional, easy to talk to, punctual, offered a flexible schedule, and was available to answer my requests in a timely fashion. He surpassed my expectations because he took the time to educate me on how the system works, when to change filters, and even guided me on my warranty registration. I like that he respected my home by keeping his workspace tidy and organized. I am very pleased with the outstanding job he did, and I highly recommend him and will continue to seek his services."

"We are very happy with the work RC concrete completed at our home. They were super fast contacting me and getting everything scheduled and completed the project just a couple days later. They stayed in contact with me throughout the process and cleaned up as they went along. I contacted multiple companies before hiring them and they had the best prices and communication out of everyone! I will be recommending them to any family and friends looking to have concrete work done and will use them myself for any future projects!"

"Sam called and arranged a time to come look at what I needed done. He brought several pictures of mailboxes to choose from and left them with me so I could decide which one I wanted. He set a date and time that he would come back and install the mailbox. He was on time, communicated with me by text, and did an excellent job. I would definitely hire him again for any handyman work I need done."

Fire Pit Installation questions, answered by experts

Yes, a water leak poses a major fire risk at your home because water is a conductor of electricity. Water that comes into contact with sparks or electrical wires can instantly ignite flammable materials. Additionally, any type of exposure to water can cause wires and other electrical components within your home to corrode. When assessing categories of water damage, it's important to know that even a small amount of moisture near wiring could cause sparks that lead to a fire.

In general, it will take about 90 minutes to burn the creosote sweeping log by itself, allowing it to work its magic. This may be longer or shorter depending on the conditions of your chimney.

A smoke alarm that beeps periodically, often every 30 to 60 seconds, usually indicates a low battery. The first step is to replace the battery. If this doesn't solve the problem, try resetting the alarm. However, beeping can also signal other issues, such as dust buildup in the sensors or the unit reaching the end of its life. Different beep patterns can mean different things; for example, multiple beeps might indicate an issue with a combination carbon monoxide detector, while a continuous, loud alarm means smoke has been detected. If a new battery doesn't stop the beeping, it's best to consult your alarm's manual, call a professional, or replace the unit.

There are a few things you can look out for to ensure your chimney is safe to use. Check for the following issues:

  • Cracks or missing pieces in the masonry of the chimney

  • Creosote buildup in the chimney, which is a black, tar-like substance

  • Cracks, stains, or scorch marks in the firebox

  • Water stains in or around the fireplace

  • A broken or stuck damper

Baseboard heaters are generally safe and efficient, but they can be dangerous if safety precautions are not followed. To ensure safety, do not block the heaters with furniture, drapes, open doors, or other items, and maintain clear space around them for proper heat flow. Regularly check that items have not fallen on or under the units. If you have children or pets, make sure they stay clear of hot heaters to avoid burns. For added safety, consider models with an automatic shut-off feature and have them professionally tested. If a problem occurs with a baseboard heater, always contact a qualified electrician or HVAC professional for repairs.
