Replaced the popcorn ceilings in some rooms. I scraped and called these guys to do the retexture with splatter drag and paint. They did a first rate job. I'll be calling again when ready to do the rest of the house.

Chris at Touchstone Granite was great! Very helpful, and his pricing was fair and sqaure. We had been told by other companies that the lead time for installation would be 3-5 weeks. With Chris, we picked the stone out on Monday and it was installed by the end of the week. Superior service!!

Which, to be fair as we were not able to work with Genie while attending to my sister. The contract was expensive. Very expensive. The cost of the remodel is close to 1/4th the value of her home. I noticed there were issues with the remodel that showed a surprising lack of attention to detail. Genie sent people to address the issues twice. Yet issues remain. My calls to my contact at Genie are now being ignored. Also, the only document I have for the remodel is the contract my sister signed. It is not detailed. I have and continue to ask for a breakdown of the cost. An estimate or work order. This request is also being ignored. I am disappointed and have to wonder why Genie will not provide this information. I have several other questions for Genie that I will not go into here.
