"Planet Green did an amazing job. This is the second time I have used them and both were great. I had a new shower built with white subway tile on the walls and porcelain tile on the floor with black grout. The contractor who did the grout did a terrible job. The grout was uneven, grout was all over the wall and floor tile, and it was an absolute mess. Planet Green cleaned it up and made it look great. They are easy to work with and show up on time. Would definitely recommend."

"The floor tiles came out cleaner than when first installed. The tech was punctual, tidy and did a great job. I am wheelchair bound and dependent on professionals to do maintenance work I once did. Their work exceded my high expectations. I highly recommend Cross Cleaning."

"Shelly and Thomas showed up early and actually were waiting for me.  This was my son's apartment and he had been sick and the upkeep was in disarray to say the least.  Everything required more than the usual amount of cleaning.  The floors required a lot of attention.
I left them and went to do laundry.  When my wife and I returned we could hardly believe the level of cleaning and attention to detail that had taken place in four hours.  The apartment was not only immaculate, but it did not have a solvent or bleachy smell to it. Instead, it was clean, neat and just had a naturally clean smell to it.  We were and are very pleased and would highly recommend T&S to our friends.

"The floor was easy and quick to install considering the amount of effort and precision it takes to individually place and pattern each penny. Thanks to the Penny Guy’s attention to detail, my bathroom floor looks amazing whether I just cleaned it or haven’t mopped for two weeks. The maintenance is easy and I haven’t run into any issues that need repair. Thank you Penny Guy!"

Floor Cleaning and Waxing questions, answered by experts

After carpet removal, prepare for new flooring by assessing the subfloor. You will want to address any imperfections to create a smooth and level base for installation. Remember, proper subfloor preparation is crucial for optimal new flooring results. Consider repairing and replacing damaged areas for a stable foundation. For both wood and concrete subfloors, consider sanding to remove any debris or adhesives remaining thoroughly.

Dust mops are the best option for tackling dirt and dust on marble floors. Vacuums aren’t a good idea as the brushes and beater rolls can scratch and damage your marble floors. If you must use a vacuum, make sure your vacuum has a setting for hard floors, and take care not to apply too much pressure when rolling the vacuum across your marble floor.

The best solution for mopping floors depends on the type of floor you have, but a good all-around or multi-purpose DIY floor cleaner is 2 cups of warm water, 5 to 10 drops of liquid dish soap, and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. This is safe to use on tile, laminate, wood, polished concrete, vinyl, and more, as it’s relatively neutral and lacks caustic and abrasive chemicals that could be harmful to children and pets. You can also use a multi-purpose commercial cleaner, but make sure to follow the directions for safety.

Services typically take 2-4 hours, depending on the area size and floor material.

Most DIY floor cleaners don’t require rinsing, but you’ll want to make sure you don’t add too much dish soap or oil to the cleaner to avoid having to rinse it after cleaning. For non-wood floors, mix 8 parts warm water, 1 part vinegar, and 1 part baking soda with a few drops of dish soap. For wood floors, use olive oil in that same mixture instead of the vinegar. You can let these solutions air-dry after cleaning your floors with them, although you should manually dry your floors if they aren’t waterproof.
