"I entered into an agreement with Adam to install an irrigation system and sod at my home. We agreed to a lump sum for both jobs, with me paying his requested amount for the irrigation system and the remainder to be paid when the sod was installed. The irrigation system was installed and that work paid for, but the morning that the sod work was scheduled to be done, I received a text from Adam saying that he was cancelling the work because he had thought about it and decided that I was not paying him enough for the work. It seems to me like Adam agreed to sod installation (which was a good price) to win my business for the irrigation system (which was market price). "Everything went great from a call from Chris and a very fast response to come out. He did he measurements and got back with a design plan. Once we agreed he started when he said and completed the project as said. Made a few small changes along the way and I understood there would be a change or order fee but it was worth it. His vision in a plan with what I had just talked about I wanted was spot on. Yes I would and will hire him again. Another decision helper for me was that he is a veteran and that is big when it comes down to looking at estimates."
