A second plumber was called (AIM Plumbing--highly recommended) who simply and quickly unclogged the drain (for $300, not $3000 ha) and even showed me the grease that was blocking it. When contacted about his errant charge and diagnosis, Jerry couldn't remember my case but refused to provide any discount for his poor service. A terribly wrong diagnosis + vendor memory loss = a very bad customer experience."

For example, you could install additional pipes for a basement bathroom. Since the floor will be sealed over with concrete when you’re done, now’s a good time to take care of those bigger tasks.
