"The manager, I think, and her associate came out to view what needed to be done the night before and gave me her recommendations and price in which I felt like was needed anyways. We agreed on a time for her and her associate to be here today. They were here from 9:30 until after 2:30 I think the clock said when they were all done. Plus, it was her and 2 associates. The only downside, if you consider it to be, is that the other two ladies didn't speak English so their boss had to translate if I needed to inform them of anything or vice versa. My house has not been this clean for many months. I did use another maid service in the past and was not impressed whatsoever, but these ladies will be cleaning my house every 2 weeks until I am well enough to do it myself again. Thank you Home Advisor for your referral!!!"

"Excellent. The floors look amazing. They did exactly as promised and we are extremely happy with the outcome. I was skeptical about the price they charge, but after I saw the amount of work that was involved, I made the right choice to hire them."

Floor Polishers questions, answered by experts

Both buffing and polishing increase the longevity of your floors by removing scratches and buildup, but they are different processes. Polishing removes the top layer of your floor, removing surface-level scuffs and scratches. Buffing your floor involves filling the scratches and scuffs with a buffing solution. No matter which method you choose, you can rest assured that both techniques will leave your floor looking shiny and new.

The best way to clean vinyl floors is to vacuum or sweep away debris and then mop the floors using a mixture of warm water and dish soap or vinegar. You can also use store-bought cleaners if they’re marked safe for vinyl surfaces.

A floor polisher won’t remove scratches from a wood floor, but the polish can fill in surface scratches and make them all but invisible. If you run your fingernail gently over the scratch and it doesn’t catch, chances are that the polish will hide it. If it does catch, you might want to have your floors fully refinished, and you might need to have a professional floor sander in for particularly deep scratches. When in doubt, call a professional floor polisher to determine if polish will fill in your scratches or if you need more in-depth services.

If you have waxed floors or floors with a penetrating stain or oil, you can shine them up with some more wax and a cloth or floor buffer. After cleaning the floor thoroughly, apply wax to the floor in small sections and use a clean, dry cloth or towel to buff it until it shines. You can also use an electric polisher, which is especially handy for large floors.

To properly maintain natural stone surfaces, use pH-neutral cleaners for regular cleaning and avoid acidic substances that can cause damage or etching. It is also important to reseal the surfaces periodically, especially for porous stones, to protect the finish, maintain appearance, and ensure longevity.
