He is very precise when it comes to details such as proper paints, matching, and repairs. He is equally great when it comes to exterior work. He is also very fair with pricing and shows up as scheduled. He does not rush the job and does not ask to be paid until the job is done. We will definitely be calling David for any future work that needs to be done."

"The engagement started very positive with a very professional consultation and estimate process, but then quickly went downhill from there. Lack of surface prep left paint ridden with debris. I have never seen such poor execution of a fairly simple process. However, that was not even the worst part of the whole interaction with Five Star Painting. When expressing these concerns to Five Star Painting's project manager, I was met with extreme hostility and an absolute lack of understanding. Instead of having a discussion about my concerns it was immediately escalated to a "production manager" - almost as if this happens quite often . . . For a paint company, they sure do not understand paint, let alone customer care."

"My home suffered extensive damage when a water line broke on the second floor. I called Ultra Services and three other firms that were highly rated by rating services such as Angi, Google and Yelp to bid on the restoration project. The contrast between Ultra Services and the other three other firms was day and night. Ultra Services came out and took the time to take detailed notes on required work. Then they provided a detailed estimate that gave me a cost breakdown of all individual charges that I could compare to an insurance estimate. They were crystal clear about what was and was not included in their bid. As I learned more about what was needed, they cheerfully revised their estimate with the changes. Other firms simply gave me a final figure with almost no breakdown of costs, leaving me to wonder what specifics were actually included. In all, working with Ultra Services was a very positive experience in an otherwise very stressful time. Just as I was ready to commit to using Ultra Services I discovered that a friend of 20 years owned a company that performed only insurance related restoration claims work, and used the same estimation software that the insurance company used to align estimates and actuals. In the end, I did not engage Ultra Services, but it would be a disservice to not report that the quality of their up-front service is very impressive and highly recommended by me."

He is an experienced, well educated, well-informed, a professional and quite personable individual. Tony is the contractor working with my excellent builder, Truitt Group- Mr. Logan Leen. Tony himself was directly involved in the project from the beginning: getting all the necessary measurements, ordering martials, following up with the installation crew, and making the final inspections of the installations. "This was the third time we've used Rudy. He was prompt and professional. I cut out a 2'x3' piece of sheetrock to install bracing for a TV wall mount. Rudy remounted the sheetrock I removed, taped and floated the joints then he retextured the area to match the original. It's difficult to match the existing drag texture but Rudy did a great job. Unless you know what to look for and where, you would never know the wall was repaired. We also had him come back to paint the repaired wall. For both jobs, he protected surrounding areas and was meticulous about his quality even to the point of retouching an area that I thought was fine but it didn't meet his standards. We will hire Rudy again for the next paint/sheetrock job."
