"I just moved to Tarrant County in November and had NO clue what local plumbing service-providers to use for our plumbing issues (leaky drain & clogged toilet). I decided to go to Angi’s List and found Bluefrog Plumbing & Drains. Bluefrog’s customer service was exceptional from start to finish! They were the first service provider to contact me, ask for details on services needed, provide me an online quote and schedule an appointment for me for the very next day!! A Very Special Thank You to the plumbing technician, Tommy!!! Tommy was polite, courteous, knowledgable in his trade and did a fantastic job fixing our plumbing issues! If you have plumbing issues and you live in North Texas…Call Bluefrog Plumbing & Drains! You will NOT REGRET IT!!! Sincerely, New Bluefrog Plumbing & Drain Customer for Life!!! Brooke F. "Very well on both projects. Lon and his crew worked efficiently and expertly from start to finish. They exceeded my expectations which were high. The 80 foot retaining wall draws compliments from my neighbors and the extensive French drain has saved my marshy backyard. I would absolutely hire them again. $5,160 for the wall and $5,000 for the French drain."

"Jesse came to asses and bid the job and gave me different options. I thought my water heater was 12yrs old-13maybe, but it was over 20. More bids/estates came in much higher than theirs AND I also learned from others I could buy my own water heater and pay a plumber for insulation only. So I got a new WH and an extended warranty on it. Mother Plumber sent a Fantastic-informative-polite technician Matt to install and warranted his work. AND THEN I learned about the membership without auto renewal AND I saved even more money on that! I can tell you, you can’t beat this company in price and coverage. And i just trust them. Trust is a big issue. They make money, but they give you so much more than the others and coverage thru membership that keeps you safe year after year if you’re smart. Thanks to Mother Plumber, I feel brilliant!"

"Rick was efficient and professional. We had a substantial blockage in our drains that we could not seem to shake. He came in and cleared it all out , explained the process and gave us an affordable price. He also loved our pets and actually preferred to work around them haha! Overall , great experience and would 100 percent use them and recommended him and his company in the future . 5 stars"

"Arrived on time, very nice, very professional. He first looked with a camera (in both directions) where he found a large paper blockage. He then snaked the drain and did something most do not do.... he re-scoped it to be sure the job was done right with the camera. Would highly recommend this company to anyone with plumbing concerns!"

Storm Drain Installation questions, answered by experts

The cost of storm door installation is influenced by several factors, including the door's material, type, size, and any customizations. Additional features like high-efficiency models, enhanced security locks, or special screens can also increase the price. Labor costs will also play a role in the final expense.

Like many common door problems, warping can be caused by improper installation. When a door isn't installed correctly, there's a good chance that the poor seal is allowing moisture and drafts to seep through. When this happens, humidity will build up in the wood until it swells and warps.

There are several potential causes of a gap at the top of your storm door. For one, your door may naturally start to sag as your house settles over time. Other possible explanations include loose screws, faulty hinges, damaged weatherstripping, or incorrect installation. The right solution for fixing a gap will depend on the cause.

There are a few ways to make your storm door less drafty. For example, if the bottom of your storm door is letting in air, you can lower the door sweep so there’s a smaller gap between your door and the floor. You can also install weatherstripping or apply caulk around the door frame.

Yes, installing or replacing a storm door is a manageable DIY project, especially for those with experience replacing regular doors. Many modern storm doors feature simple, pre-hung designs and come with the necessary hardware, making installation more convenient. With basic tools, a DIY installation is possible, though professional services can ensure proper alignment and weatherproofing. On average, installing a pre-hung storm door takes about four hours.
