"I had a bathroom remodel project as the shower wall was cracked. Jorge helped me to come up with an option that solved the issue but also stay within my budget. He was upfront with the price estimates and delivered everything on time. He even repainted the shower tray, which wasn't in the orignal plans. He kept me updated every day and cleaned up nicely after the job was done. The shower now looks new, it is nice and clean, and more importantly, it's not leaking anymore. If you need a reliable handyman, I definitely recommend Jorge and his team. Thanks!"

"I cannot say enough good things about Ocean Breeze. We had extensive yard work done. Sod laid, leveling of lawn, leaves removed, power washing, stones relaid for pathway near patio, fixed water spigot. They were diligent, on time, and went above and beyond the scope of work we needed. Put garbage cans back, blew driveway and left yard and surroundings spotless! We will use them again!"

"Fast, efficient work done on my driveway and reasonably priced! The two gentlemen were direct, professional, and down to earth. They greeted me, engaged in some small talk, and answered all of my questions/concerns with ease. They were also mindful with their equipment so as not to damage my home or lawn. I look forward to having them back to do the house next!"

Snow Removal questions, answered by experts

Some commercial services use sand when clearing ice, but that’s to add instant traction, not to melt the ice. While you can scatter kitty litter, sand, or similar substances on steps, paths, or porches to improve safety during icy conditions, they won’t help melt hardened ice. Rely on salt or other de-icing methods to fully melt away stubborn ice.

The easiest way to remove snow from a roof involves using a roof rake that allows you to clear snow from the ground. Roof rakes are lightweight and feature adjustable handles, making them user-friendly for most people. This method also helps prevent ice dams and excess snow buildup, reducing the risk of roof damage during winter months.

When should you remove snow from your roof? A good rule of thumb is once six inches of snow accumulates.

Services include plowing, shoveling, salting, and de-icing for parking lots, walkways, and entrances.

When starting the engine, you typically leave the choke on a snowblower in the "choke" or "closed" position. After starting, let the engine run for a few minutes to warm up. Then, gradually open the choke, moving it to the "open" or "run" position, allowing more air into the engine and transitioning to a normal fuel-air mixture. The exact duration varies based on the snowblower model and ambient temperature, but as a general rule, you should open the choke once the engine has stabilized and runs smoothly, typically within a few minutes.

The best snow removal tools include a snowblower or a plastic shovel since they're less likely to damage your driveway's surface. Metal shovels can crack asphalt and concrete. It's also a good idea to install driveway markers since they can make it much easier for you to identify where you should shovel without damaging the surrounding yard.
