"Joshua was punctual, honest and friendly. His crew did an awesome job on cleaning up brush and trimming my trees back. They cleaned up everything and took care of my side yard which was over grown. Iâ m so happy I found them and they were reasonably priced and service was exceptional."

Small jobs welcome

"I hired DC Landscaping to clear some brush and weedeat on my property. I met with David to go over the work. He gave me a fair price and showed up right on time on the day of work. He did exactly what we agreed on. I highly recommend David and DC Landscaping. I plan on using them again."

"Work included taking down 5 large pittosporum bushes and hauling off brush, adding 1' edging to front walk, creating new path (about 10' x 3'), and taking up and re-laying patio stones. They did a good job with everything and finished very quickly. We got 4 estimates; Gomez and one other had the lowest at $2,000."

Customers say: Quality work

"Our builder's grade, 8 year-old fence finally blew down in a storm. The posts were rotted. Silver Leaf put up our new fence. They were awesome to deal with from start to finish. In four days, they took down our old fence and disposed of all the boards. Theydug 18" hole for the new metal posts (no small feat since we have a very rocky backyard). They were very polite and communicative, and talked to us before and each step of the way. When my husband asked for some minor changes, they listened and accommodated us. They showed up on time each morning and left the yard looking neat each evening. We were very pleased with the whole process and the outcome."

"I've only ben a customer for a couple of months and it is winter time, so there has not been any real visible change in the way my yard looks. I am very hopeful that by treating the yard through the winter period, that in the spring the grass will spring forth beautifully!, with no weeds!!"

"Southern Landscape Solutions installed my drip irrigation system over 4 years ago and continues to be my irrigation service provider. His irrigation experts are licensed irrigators by the state of Texas. Richard was able to quickly find the source of the leak and replace the defective part. Sean's entire staff is professional and focused on providing custom care to their clients. Southern Landscape Solutions work is fairly priced in a competitive marketplace. I highly recommend Southern Landscape Solutions and will use them, again, in the future."

"It went very well with excellent communication throughout. I was very pleased with the finished fences. It was a challenging project done on uneven ground and a sloped area."

These rates can vary depending on your location, the size of staff needed for the job, and overall job type. For example, a larger crew will be needed for structural additions and hardscaping versus planting flowers.

When it comes to landscapers, licensing laws vary. Landscaping architects are required to be licensed in all 50 states, whereas traditional landscaping contractors are not typically required to hold a certification. If you are redesigning your whole yard or adding in hardscape features, you will work with a landscaping architect at some point during the project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local landscaper guidelines.
