We had two cabinet doors made (not by Bob) and gave them to him to paint and mount. It would also require small changes to the trim on the cabinet where the doors will go. About May 3rd, 2013, Bob picked up the doors and took them home with him to paint. Sometime around the 1st of June I started calling and leaving voice messages. He would never answer the phone. Nothing but voice mail. And NEVER a return call. I called him two or three times in the next couple of weeks. NEVER a return call. On June 13th I called and again was dumped to voice mail. I left a message just like all the previous times: "this is so-and-so my phone # is such-and-such, please call me...." About 15 minutes later I called him again. This time from a cell phone. He picked up on the first ring. I asked him when he was going to install my doors. He asked who this was. I told him and he said he would be by tomorrow (Friday the 14th). Tomorrow came and went and no Bob. Called and left a message Monday morning (the 17th). And Tuesday morning. And Wednesday morning. And Thursday morning. And Friday morning. And on the following Monday morning (the 24th). And Tuesday morning. And on Wednesday morning (today) I called but didn't leave a message. I then called on my cell phone and he answered on the first ring (he evidently didn't recognize the # as being mine). In response to 'when am going to get my doors' he replied that he had just been so busy......... I told him I would just pick them up. He said come by after he got home about 4:30 or 5:00. I picked them up about 4:45 this afternoon. He wasn't home. The doors were still tacky. Obviously he painted them THIS MORNING after I told him I would pick them up. Plus, they were painted with a brush, not spray painted like the rest of the kitchen cabinets, doors, drawers. AND IT WAS THE WRONG SHADE OF WHITE - STUCK OUT LIKE A SORE THUMB. Obviously he doesn't want to do any more work for me. I have paid him $11,455.00 for work done from October, 2012 to date. I consider his work excellent (although his tile setting and plumbing leaves something to be desired), and his prices fair. He is, however, not to be relied on. There were times he would leave for lunch ("I'll be back in an hour.:) and he would not be seen for several days or a week. And never a call. It got to the point that when he left for the day I would ask "WHEN will you be back?" Whether he said tomorrow or day after tomorrow, it was always a surprise when he did show up as promised. He has never had to wait for payment. I thought I was a good customer. Now I don't know. I thought we had a good relationship, but now I don't know. For this and the fact that he NEVER returns phone calls or emails, to quote the people on Shark Tank, 'I'M OUT'. Never again, even if I have to pay twice the price, will I use Bob Bowman. Anyone that won't at least return a phone call is not worth dealing with. It is not only poor business practice, it is downright RUDE.
He removed the old tub from our master bath, installed new plumbing for the tub and shower, using PVC - he took all the copper home with him. The shower head has about 8 inches of play side to side. The tub spout has play in it. I have had to remove sheet rock from the other side of the wall (fortunately it is in a closet) only to discover that everything is just hanging there free. There is about 4' of plastic pipe coming off the valve to an elbow at the top where the shower head connects. NO CLAMPS ON IT TO KEEP IT FROM MOVING AROUND. I know he knows better because he did our hall bath a few months ago and all the plumbing is tight there."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/tx/lufkin/all-seasons-roofing-reviews-6610040.htm"},"position":9},{"@type":"ListItem","item":{"@type":"LocalBusiness","name":"Lovely Nails","address":{"@type":"PostalAddress","addressRegion":"TX","addressCountry":"US"},"review":{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"Crystal K."},"reviewBody":"I've been going to Lovely Nails for years and they're GREAT! They're not the cheapest nail salon around, but their prices are very competitive w/ other local places and their work far outshines the rest. I get tons of compliments on my nails and I always know that they'll last (even if I don't find time to come in as often as I should for fills). I continually recommend them to people. The staff is friendly and make you feel very comfortable and that's a big plus when you're there for long periods of time and often. Because they get a lot of "walk-in" business, they're sometimes very busy and there can be a long wait. However, I think that's my only complaint."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/tx/sherman/lovely-nails-reviews-2784201.htm"},"position":10}]}

We had a custom shower built and a tile bathtub surround, tile kitchen backsplash, and tile flooring installed. Enrique was responsive, easy to work with, communicated with us consistently throughout our projects, and he and Guadalupe both did quality work. I would recommend and use them again.
Kevin Adlof stole $86,000 of my insurance money, never finished my house, stole everything that I owned and never gave it back and commits insurance fraud on the regular! Kevin Adlof is the biggest crook on the face of this planet!!! I work my a** off 24/7 still trying to recoup from a...

The day before we leave for vacation the commodes and bathtub / showers would not drain and backed up with sewage, this in itself is a horror, but the day before vacation?? Come on!! I promptly got on Angie's List and contacted Drain Doctor. I spoke with the very pleasant Helen in the...

FAQs for bathtub restoration projects in Hudson, TX
The cost to refinish a bathtub is $490 for most homeowners. However, this cost can range from $200 to $1,000 or more, depending on your tub's material and condition.
For example, enamel and cast-iron bathtubs are pretty straightforward to refinish, costing between $350 and $600. However, if you have an antique claw-foot tub, you can expect to pay between $500 and $1,200 for refinishing costs due to the care and complexity needed.
For a standard-sized bathtub with minor damage, it takes approximately 3 to 5 hours to refinish. It might take a bit longer if your bathtub refinishing contractor needs to fill in significant cracks or gouges. This is the same if you have a specialty tub, like an oversized bathtub—you can expect your pro to take a bit on the longer side.
If your bathtub is in overall good shape with minor scratches, discoloration, or just general wear and tear, it's best (and less expensive) to refinish it.
If your tub has large cracks, is leaking, or is otherwise severely damaged, we recommend replacing it with a new bathtub. Refinishing a bathtub can only fix superficial problems, so these issues will still be present or reappear after a refinishing.
There are a few signs, both obvious and not so obvious, that it's time to refinish your bathtub. While some of these signs aren't an urgent problem, others could lead to significant damage if left untreated. Signs you should look out for include:
Rust stains, which signal the tub's enamel or surface sealer is deteriorating
Small chips, which can grow into larger chunks and can lead to rusting
Discoloration, which doesn't lead to a more significant problem but can be unsightly
Dirty surfaces, which means that the tub glaze is breaking down and allowing dirt to seep below the coating
Refinishing a bathtub is worth it if your tub has minor damage or is a color that you don't like. The cost of replacing a bathtub is more expensive than simply refinishing one, averaging around $5,300. It's more cost-effective to refinish your tub if you can, but it also gives you the look of a new bathtub without having to replace the whole thing.
