"Moe and his team did an absolutely exemplary job removing popcorn ceiling, installing lights and repairing woodwork. Some of the work was not straightforward, but thanks to his skill and ingenuity, end result was outstanding. Team was personable, professional and highly capable. I would recommend for any home projects."

Customers say: True professional

"I actually mixed up my contractors and replied to Vern by mistake, thinking he was someone else. Turns out it was a lucky mistake. Not only did he take on the job another contractor bailed on (assembling a bookcase), but he also wall-mounted a TV, fixed my driveway gate, and reinforced a wobbly railing on my front steps so it’s now completely solid and steady. All of that — and at really fair prices. I’m already making a new list of projects around the house because I’m genuinely happy to have found someone reliable, skilled, and reasonably priced. It’s such a relief to finally have a handyman I can trust."

"The owner Chris, advised me on the work that would be required to do the job properly. The job was priced as materials plus labor so I could see exactly what my ladder choice was going to cost and how much he was charging for installation. The ladder was priced at his cost. The job was done properly and the area cleaned after the work was completed. -- Most important I believe Chris can be trusted to be up front about cost , work and material requirements and timeliness."

He was incredibly polite and knowledgeable, clearly explaining the process and options available to me. "Kenny responded really quickly and was able to accommodate our move considering it was soon after the winter storm in Tx. I was really happy with the fact that everything was in writing. We had previously hired a different moving company was told it would be extra after our furniture was loaded. I was happy that we had no damage to our furniture. The job was completed in a timely manner. Everyone was kind and friendly. I would definitely hire them again for any moving needs!"

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

It is generally not recommended to place a pool directly on grass. Doing so will kill the grass underneath, and the surrounding lawn may also be damaged by heavy foot traffic and splashes of chemically-treated water. For best results, create a clean, level surface by removing the grass and debris. You can then install a sturdier base using materials like sand, a concrete pad, or solid foam.

The best way to kill off an algae bloom in an aboveground pool is to shock it with a large dose of chlorine. Shock typically kills off algae in about one to three days, although it can take longer if the pool water is in poor condition. After the shock treatment, add algaecide to prevent algae from growing back, and test the water every few days with test strips to ensure the pool’s pH doesn’t get out of whack.

If you have a smooth, already bonded concrete surface, painting a concrete pool deck can be a great way to brighten up the area and add longevity. If the surface has another covering or a different type of paint has been used previously, you won’t be able to paint it without removing the existing coating. Wooden decks benefit from painting as it helps to keep them watertight. Quality pool deck paints also help make the surface less slippery and less likely to gather mold and mildew or prematurely crack.

The process involves selecting a site, preparing the ground, setting up a supportive frame, and securely installing the liner and water filtration system.

Yes, you can use food coloring to find a pool leak. Alternatively, you can use pool detection dyes that are nontoxic and biodegradable. Depending on how much food dye you have on hand, it may be more cost-effective to use pool dyes.

The dye test is one of the best swimming pool leak detection tools because the dyes are heavier than water. By observing where the dye gets sucked in, you can find the location of your leak.
