"Mark Gonzalez did a wonderful job on our daughter’s house. We called him and he came out and gave us a quote. Scheduling was an issue and we chose to wait for him to be available. We are glad we did. He did what he agreed to do and then some. An example is in order. The task was to repair sheetrock in several areas throughout the house. Those areas were enumerated and discussed. During the course of the job, he saw other areas that needed repair and fixed those too. He did not make a big deal of it. He just did it. He is also an artist. For example, we were supposed to provide the paint. He requested that he be allowed to get the paint which was great for us. He took samples and went to Sherwin Williams. When he got back with the matched paint, he was not satisfied (looked good to us). He took the paint back and had it redone. To us, it looked good the first time and perfect the second time. His rates are extremely reasonable and does a superb job. Scheduling may be an issue so we suggest to allow sufficient time for him to get to your project. You will be really glad you did."

"I was dry-walling my garage and needed help and wanted to finish it asap.  I had another contractor out who did great work but they were booked for two weeks so decided to try and get someone else out as I wanted it finished.  Called DR Renovations up to setup an appointment, talked to Danny the owner and he said he would be in the area later that day and had time to come by and give me a quote.  Around 4pm that day got a call back from Danny that he was at my house and after having looked at everything he could get all my garage walls/ceiling ready to paint for $400 and it would take a day.  He said he had two guys ready to do the job tomorrow so I gave him the green light.  He called his guy to make arrangement's and called me back to say his guy Hector would be there at 7:30am tomorrow morning.  The only issue I had was the guys had not showed up at 7:45am and I needed to get to work so called Danny and he called back and said he was not able to reach his guy but they were for sure on the way.  It was raining hard so not surprised there was a delay.  At almost noon I had to call Danny back as I had not heard anything if they had made it or not (He did sounds like he was sick), he said they were there working so I headed that way.  
Got to the house and met Hector and his helper.  I got a good look and was very happy with their work and he told me they would be done in about 2-3 hours, I was a little skeptical as there was still a lot of sanding and mudding to do but they clearly knew what they were doing so left to go back to work.  Got home after work that night and checked all the work out and was very impressed.  
They did a great job, I am very happy.  The only thing they could improve on was the communications, The work itself was A+.

"This was a major project that took about one month to complete - much faster than most contractors. Jose always made good suggestions and often saved us money by repairing/painting instead of replacing. The job was started early and finished in less time than we expected. "I really wanted to provide a good review to these guys if only for the repeated effort they put in trying to get it right. Once the owner started to blame me and my house for the struggles they had, I decided I needed to write an honest review. So I have a house that was built around 2000 and it has rolled on texture and stamped ceiling texture that is applied using spackling compound. This is very common in this area and prior painters have had no problem matching it. In this case the crew admitted to me they were not professional painters, they did not to keep the area neat (drips on carpet, stain on pool cool deck (photo), stain on garage wall (photo), muddy boot prints on stair carpeting (see photo), etc,), they could not create a straight line in corners where two paint colors merge (see white/blue paint photo), and did not know how to texture. The wall texture had to be done over three times - that is literal. I showed them how to do it. They eventually got that fairly well figured out. The ceiling was another story - the area that had a sheet rock repair was retextured 5 times over three visits (see white ceiling / gray wall paint photos). At first it was totally terrible and I had to tell them what ceiling texture stamping tool to buy from Home Depot (pretty much the main one they sell). One painter told me he watched utube to try and figure out how to use that tool but did not have any experience with texture. He was not satisfied with his own work, to his credit. Finally the owner came and redid it. I was dismayed to find how rough it looks. I have hired someone to re do it. I can not recommend this company. If you do hire them, don't pay up front like I did."
