Given my tall, metal roofed home in a wooded setting, I needed lightning protection. I've never had a problem in 23 years, until the past 3 months. The frequency and intensity of electrical storms is increasing. I had two close calls (at the expense of over $1,000 of electronics (that I had plugged into expensive surge protectors!) "I called R & K because I wanted to use angie's list and make a good decision. I saw that there were already two reviews for this electric company already. When I called, the secretary was very professional and made sure that I reached the electrician. He had to call me back, but it wasn't but only 5 minutes until he called me back. He asked me what the problems were that I was having and told me exactly what he could do and how much it would cost. He even asked me to call the store where I was buying the oven just to make sure that the plug he would install would be the right one. He asked when I needed him to come out. I told him that I needed him to be at my house in 2 1/2 hours. He told me that he couldn't, but he worked with another liscenced electrician that would work with me. Within 5 minutes the electrician he was referring to called me back and told me that he would be right over. He was there on time and promptly got to work. He showed me how to do some other odd jobs I needed done that were not necessarily electrical in nature and even let me borrow his tools so I could do them! Insane! The whole job took him a little over three hours. He gave me a bill and made sure that I was happy with the work he did. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. His name was Milton."
