"First remodel and it was a good learning experience. This kitchen remodel included taking the kitchen down to the studs, reworking the floor plan to add a walk-in pantry, and getting all new cabinets and appliances. The end result is amazing. Biggest learning point for me: working with subcontractors. I hired Bob Kitchell for this project because of his reputation and work ethic. However, with the number of projects ongoing, Bob assigned our project to a subcontractor and his crew. While the job was done well, my initial planning conversations regarding my project and research I did on local contractors did not include the new project subcontractor. Something to think about for future projects!"

They made sure our furniture was moved safely - tarps were placed from door to door to protect our floors - they made a special effort to keep the wife informed and allowed her to place the various components (grab bars, compartments, etc) so there would be no angst at the end. Cleaned up their work areas (inside and out) and hauled away old tub and panels) - made sure both of us understood the mechanics of the equipment and allowed me one extra day before signing off on the project for some antagonistic testing. I feel this team demonstrated everything that the salesman promised and more which is rarely the case. Well done gentleman!"

"We met with Wally, showed him the very rough plans we had, discussed our ideas and the vision we had for the end result. He "got it".  After a couple of meetings and revisions we had plans that encompassed our ideas with his design knowledge and expertise. It wasn't easy to take an existing structure that couldn't be changed and design a workable, functioning unique interior but Wally was able to do just that.
We found him very open and easy to work with. His explanations of what would and wouldn't work were valuable knowledge for us.
We would certainly work with Wally again and not hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing an architect/designer.
