Bugabug Pest Control began in June 1999. Mark Foltz, the owner, has worked in this industry for 28 years, both as a top producer for a world-wide company and as a technician. The glimmer of Bugabug flickered when Mark could not continue to support a company that sold service to its customers but did not live up to their service agreement. The Foltz family had a 3 month old son, $3000 in the bank a used truck that had to be fumigated, and faith. Mark wanted to supply a service based on honesty, affordability, and dependability. With an add in the Greensheet, miles of putting out fliers, word of mouth, and out-of-the-ordinary and dependable first rate service, Bugabug has grown into a two-location company that serves over 20 counties.

Despite their speed, they are limited to crawling along floors, walls, and ceilings. There’s no denying the striking resemblance, but squash bugs are different from the brown marmorated stink bug. While both are shield-shaped and emit a foul odor when crushed, they belong to different insect families and target different plants. Squash bugs primarily attack squash, pumpkins, and other cucurbits, while stink bugs have a much broader range of host plants, including fruits, vegetables, and ornamental plants. Their eggs and feeding damage also differ, making proper identification key for effective pest control.

Some stores sell smoke bombs to drive animals out of spaces, but we don’t recommend you use them, especially in an attic. The smoke can be toxic to humans or pets that may accidentally inhale it. Meanwhile, critters can easily escape the smoke by temporarily leaving the attic, only to return via their usual entry points after the smoke clears.

In terms of appearance, carpenter ants have segmented bodies with heart-shaped heads and larger front wings, while termites have more oval bodies with straight antennae and equal-sized wings.
