I have been beekeeping for many years. Colony/hive/swarm removals I have performed came from trees, travel trailers, house walls, ceilings, eaves, crawlspaces, storage sheds, barns, water meter boxes, etc. Farmers are discovering them in their wells and I will remove those too. I have had residential and commercial customers. The removal of the bees is of first importance. Preservation of the colony and relocation to a new home is important, but second. Fees are reasonable & negotiable. Call if you have any questions.

Locally owned & operated. Winner of Lubbock Avalanche-Journal "Best Pest Control" for Seventeen years in a Row!

"The guy came and told me he would do a very good job. He sprayed inside and said he would spray outside and put down granules in the yard which he did not do. I called the office to ask, I was told I couldn’t see the granules as they were powdery and that it took two weeks to kill ants! I have never heard that! I was told Rafe would call me back which he didn’t until on Friday asked to talk to his boss! When he did call he said they did not have the product he needed. I asked him why he didn’t just tell me or have Kameron tell me. He said he didn’t know. He never apologized just kept saying his order had not come in. He said he hoped it came soon. I wonder about other customers who don’t know that think their yards were treated. He said he would have the girls let me know when they might come back but I didn’t need to be here. I told him I would definitely need to be told before hand so that I would be here. This is the third incident I have had with them. It is so sad that they would not tell their customers up front. Also they are evidently asking their employees to lie to the customer!"

Pest Control questions, answered by experts

Sure, they are icky to behold, but are silverfish bad? In terms of illness or injury to humans, the answer is no because they don’t bite or carry disease. However, they can damage household items, including books, wallpaper, certain foods, and clothing, as they love to feed on starchy materials and adhesives. What’s more, their presence often indicates high humidity or moisture issues in the home, which can lead to further pest problems.

Ironically, stink bugs tend to hate plants that have a strong odor. Along with the plants that attract their predators listed above, here are a few pungent plants to add to your garden:

  • Garlic

  • Radishes

  • Mint

  • Lavender

  • Rosemary

  • Thyme

  • Catnip

  • Lemongrass

Vinegar can keep some animals at bay, like deer, rabbits, foxes, and raccoons. Keep in mind that your household pets, like cats and dogs, also don’t like the smell of vinegar. You can soak rags in white vinegar and put them up around your garden beds to keep the pesky critters from eating your plants.

Poisonous baits, like those used for getting rid of mice or rats, are a no-no for iguana traps. Using them for this purpose is illegal in most states, and the iguanas are unlikely to find them attractive. Plus, they can cause unnecessary suffering, and you risk harming a pet or other protected wildlife if they decide to nibble on it instead.

Proactive measures like sealing entry points and regular maintenance treatments help keep your home pest-free.
