The crew worked through one of the hottest days of 2018, incidentally. The workmanship was excellent. I needed additional ventilation in me attic, and Final Touch provided three solutions that have made what I think is a significant difference. Clean up was exceptional too. Final Touch is more expensive than the others, but they are worth the premium."

"Pros: customer service was good, painters were friendly, and the job was able to be scheduled quickly. Cons: price was high for the quality of work that was done (fair - not great but not terrible), paint quality appears to be low grade (flaking and thin), lots of personal clean up and retouching, had to call the guys back right after job to fix a bunch of stuff (overspray on roof and gutters, patch jobs, paint on tile and cabinets, etc.) and will probably have to call again."

There are several benefits to wet-sanding drywall, but the main perk is that it produces far less dust than dry-sanding. As a result, wet-sanding poses fewer health risks and makes less of a mess in your home. If you don’t have studs in the area where you want to install your TV mount, you may still be able to install a TV mount on drywall. The easiest way to install a mount on drywall is by using drywall anchors—but not just any plastic anchors. Choose molly bolts or toggle anchors, which have a weight capacity of around 50 pounds. For added support, consider pairing drywall anchors with a wall mounting plate. Extra heavy TVs may need to be mounted via the ceiling joists or beams.

It depends on the specifics of your project. If you’re using a stud to secure your object to the drywall, you won’t need the extra support of drywall anchors. But if there aren’t any studs in the area where you plan to hang the object, you should use drywall anchors.

It is more difficult to drywall a ceiling than it is to drywall a wall, but not so hard that DIYers can’t tackle it. One of the main issues with hanging drywall on your ceiling is getting it into place. Drywall isn’t light so, if you are hanging full drywall panels, you will need at least two (it’s better with more) people to hold the panel while you drill it into the ceiling as a single piece can weigh between 40 and 60 pounds and will need to be held in place for up to 10 minutes.

You can install backsplash on kitchen drywall, as long as you ensure your drywall is clean and dry before you apply the tiles. Your kitchen walls should be made of green board drywall, which is moisture-resistant. If you don’t have green board where your new backsplash will go, you should swap it out.
